As someone with baby fine hair, tangles have plagued me throughout my life. Not only does my hair work itself into knots at my neck when dry, combing it out after washing has always been a painful experience. As most with fine hair can attest: heavy detangling products can help, but forget about having any volume. I have tried nearly every comb/brush I've come across that claims to detangle well, but none really have. I return to combing out my wet hair with a lift/pick. Same occurs when I go to the salon; the stylist pulls out his/her comb or brush, and I settle in for 15 minutes of them tugging through my hair and swearing under their breath. A month ago I went to my current stylist for an overdue cut. After shampooing my hair, she pulled out this Finger Brush and I braced myself for the detangling ritual. I knew it wouldn't go well, as my hair had grown fairly long and there were split ends (tangle nirvana.) Within a minute my hair was combed out...no pain, no ripping noises, no muttered profanity. It caught me off guard, quite honestly. I made her stop and tell me how she managed this feat I have not accomplished in 4 decades of living with this head of hair. Thus, I was introduced to the Finger Brush. I found this little miracle on Amazon, and after it arrived I have realized that not only does it work well with wet hair, it also seems to produce less static than my other paddle brushes when my hair is dry. Another bonus is that the design of the bristles provides a nice scalp massage. The detangling is key to me, of course, and I am constantly amazed I can brush out my hair without leaving clumps of it in the brush now. I never would imagine I would evangelize about a hair brush, but this is one of those products that simply works well and has become an instant essential.

This is by far and away my favorite brush. I absolutely hate spending $30 on a brush but am gonna repurchase for a third time, just because I know what I like. I first purchased this in January 2018, my daughter stole it and I repurchased it in November 2018, it is now 2026 (Dec.2025). I have purchased at least four brushes since and I don’t know why, I always come back to this one. Worth every freaking penny. Do I wish it was fancier looking, so that it looked $expensive$ out on my sink counter? Yeah. But am I going to get another one “just in case? And for the downstairs bathroom, Yeah. This is by far and away my favorite brush. Well and above all the other prettier and fancier brushes.

I have been reordering this same brush for years. It is more expensive than others, however the quality is there and for someone with long, extremely thick hair, it has done it's job and it has done it's job well.

This brush was recommended to me by my hair dresser. She uses it in her salon. I noticed how it just glides through my hair without pulling out my hair. Tangles are removed so smoothly. So I bought one for home. This is my second one.

I've been a long time customer of Olivia garden finger brush. It's perfect for long hair of all hair types and is a nice way to scratch the scalp and even tease the hair to create volume without putting oils from my hands on it. It separates my long fine waves and gives my hair a healthy delicate look and feel. If anyone were to ask what my secret to such healthy hair I would hands down mention this brush. Very little breakage. I even have an old brush with a row broken off (that brush lasted about a year or less when the original lasted many years. The ones I've bought off of Amazon have seemed rather fragile in comparison. I've continued to buy them here because they are worth it and when they break in the return window they have been great about it. My latest one I got in October broke on the side too so ive contacted the seller.) That I keep in the bathroom to brush through conditioner. It still is great just one less row. I have given these to friends with long hair and even gave one broken down by 2 rows (one on each side) to a friend who had dreads forever and doesn't like to brush his curls. This feels so good on his scalp and he tells me every time he does a good brush out. It's awesome and even if there's nothing they can do I'll be back to buy a new one soon enough ☺️ so definitely get this. Wonderful flat brush gentle on hair and allowing air to flow and cutting down on drying ti.e and energy. Just keep an eye on it because some arrive fragile and break quite fast even if you treat it as gently as it treats your hair. 💛

I discovered this hairbrush when I was finally able to go to my hair stylist recently after not able to go for so long due to covid-19. I love the way it molds to the curve of my head as I brush my hair. I have short (to the ears) hair so I do not know how it works with long hair but it is perfect for me. It is pretty too, with a light purple handle and silver bristles.
