It works with a MacBook Pro M2 running Sonoma.
I was looking for a capture device to use with my MacBook Pro, and I tried this one and it worked like a charm. I have the M2 chip and I’m currently running Sonoma.

Works with ClickShare & Teams
This was used to connect an HDMI camera to a Barco ClickShare CX-30 via USB-C. Worked perfectly, Teams recognized the camera immediately. Video quality was better than expected.

Great HDMI to USB capture - very easy to use!
Way cheaper than a magewell and no software necessary. (my firewall picked up the magewell software trying to contact its over seas servers when left running - I’m sure it was just for updates but I don’t trust anything). It just works. I’m using windows 11 with OBS for video software. The adapter shows up as a webcam and the image is perfect.

Excellent little device, but there is noticeable latency.
TLDR:Recommended, but there is just enough delay that if you are using this as a webcam, you'll need to have the audio delayed to match (I used 130ms to get them to sync). This mini capture card works great, had no issues setting it up, worked out of the box. Connected it to a beginner's mirrorless (Canon EOS R100) and it is an excellent quality webcam...if you're using OBS. I am giving 4 stars because there's enough of an audio delay that I wouldn't recommend using it as a webcam in a program where you can't set an audio delay to match. I use a 130ms audio delay in OBS Studio to get the sound to match the video, and I think that is a big enough delay to be extremely offputting if not fixed. If you are using this as a capture card for only streaming/recording a game console, then the delay might not matter. If you're trying to use it as a passthrough, the delay probably matters. However, a full 4 stars for everything else! I do recommend this, with the above caveat.

Capable of things I never even expected.
I used to have a capture card t hat looked exactly like this one, but it was kind of crap. The audio wouldn't work properly unless using a specific app and could only use mjpeg encoding with colors that were always slightly off. When it broke, I bought this one expecting it to be the same thing, but this one is significantly more capable than i ever expected. Here's all the things I like about this capture card:- Uncompressed video output using YUY2 format! I wasn't expecting this capture card to have it, but it does. It is miles ahead of the picture quality when using the mjpeg setting. When set to 1080p 60, It looks almost identical to the original signal, just with a slight sharpening filter applied. The yuy2 mode also has very reasonable latency, similar to a TV. With a decently low latency display, you could conceivably play games through the capture card preview in OBS without the capture delay affecting your gameplay. One thing to keep in mind though: this only works on usb 3 mode. If you can only get the capture card to show up as a usb 2 device, make sure to not plug it into a usb hub.- Low latency, stereo, high quality audio that does not drift in obs at all. The audio on my last capture card drifted like crazy and was only mono unless i used a random app from github to fix those problems, which itself was not perfect. The audio also always had some latency. Here, I personally cannot tell the difference between audio from the capture card through obs and audio directly from the device. The latency is essentially unnoticeable. I use this to play games on my consoles while still being able to hear other things on my computer.

A simple hdmi input that works great
I bought 1, liked it so much I bought a 2nd. It works perfectly on an m4 Mac and I’ve got another 4k webcam recording at the same time. Just plugs in and worlds. If you want to do anything to it settings wise you need to go through the recording software.

Works great.
I use them on my iPad as an FPV screen - HDMI out from my Walksnail Avatar Goggles X and they work great.
