Phone: Galaxy S8+ charging style: wireless charging wireless charger: TAPTES Model 3 gen 2 I purchased this car charger hoping to get fast wireless charging on my phone, seeing its power output and the good reviews. At first, I was disappointed because it wasn't triggering the fast wireless charging (and if you have a Samsung don't expect it to) , but after a little research, it actually seems to be charging at the same speed. I added a few photos showing what I mean. In the photo where it says "charging wirelessly" it's using the Anker charger, and in the photo where it says "fast charging wirelessly" it's using a Samsung car charger, I bought a few years ago. although it says it will finish charging to 100% a lot faster, that's actually wrong, the time with the Anker charger wasn't accurate (every few minutes the timer would drop by a chunk, slowly closing up with the "fast charger"). And that brought me to think maybe I should use a charging app to check. I added 2 photos showing the time it took to charge from 40% to 50% on both chargers and it's practically the same. I think it's not showing the "fast wireless charging" because of a combability issue, but charging speed isn't affected and it's an amazing product overall. I would love the company to be aware of such issues. It took a lot of energy and time to figure this out. The design is amazing and it fits well. Overall amazing product and I am very satisfied.

High quality charger! Since purchasing Anker’s battery pack, I’ve become a diehard fan of theirs! This charger was a quick charger and really gave me a sense of confidence when using it. With the cheaper alternatives that I’ve used, over time there’s an odd burning smell or it is hot to the touch or falls out of the outlet. This charger doesn’t get hot even over long car rides, and charges 2 devices way faster than the USB port in my car. The only thing I can think of the be careful of is that the head of the device sticks out a little bit so depending on the placement of the outlet you may have an issue. By far the fastest car charger I’ve ever used and is so great that I bought 2! One at the store while I was stranded with a dying phone and no matter which charging port I plugged my phone into, it wouldn’t charge... I bought this and it started charging right away. (The lady at the desk gave me a “free” car charger with my purchase of the cable and although the light came on the charger it did nothing for my phone..I traded in the cable, still nothing, then bought this charger and thank goodness it worked!) The second I bought off amazon for my brother since he’s got an older model vehicle without USB charging. It also has a cool blue glow and is aesthetically pleasing!

When I upgraded my old Galaxy Note 2 to Note 8, then I realized that “I am gonna need a bigger boat”. ;) I mean that the old 12V car charger just managed to keep the charging level of the phone’s battery when navigation app (Waze, in my case) was used, rather than really charge it. This Anker charger is just the right choice! - It fast-charges my Note 8 and now any heavy-duty task is not a point to worry about discharging the phone’s battery. (Just don’t forget to use the proper cable. I use Anker PowerLine+ USB C to USB A 2.0 cable and you can check my review for this excellent cable.) - The charger looks and feels great thanks to the well thought-out design and high-quality materials! - This charger perfectly fits the car’s 12V socket and you can be sure that it will NOT slip out by itself! - When you connect it to the car’s 12V socket, then the charger’s USB ports start glowing with blue light, which brightness is correctly set and is NOT disturbing even at night (see the picture). - The price: it’s not cheap, but worth every penny. Verdict: Excellent charger and I highly recommend it if you have a powerful smartphone!

A very nice upgrade from my previous Anker 24W dual USB car charger. I originally bought the 24W charger when I first got my Galaxy S6 2 years ago and this charger has been brilliant since then. However, as I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S8 I needed something more. This charger was sent out to me at the perfect time. Design: the design is well rounded I'd say. It's bigger than standard car chargers but not huge as you'll see in the video. Also the size is what makes it better in my opinion as the spacing between the 2 USB ports makes it perfect for when you need to plug 2 cables in. So no matter what size the cables are they will both fit in comfortably no issues. I love the look (black and blue is my favourite) and its a really nice feeling charger. Quality: the quality is right up there. It's a really solid build that I know will last me fine just like the previous one I had. The USB ports are perfect fits and this was the main thing for me: it supports quick charge 3.0. As you'll see in the video, when I plugged this in and connected it to my Galaxy S8 using a good quality USB C cable (from Inateck) it actually said it was fast charging the phone. This is the first time I've plugged any of my galaxy phones since my S6 where a car charger was able to fast charge my device. This is an automatic win for me and anyone with a brand new phone that supports quick charge who has a car should buy this. Price: the price is a bit more than standard chargers but as I said previously - you can't beat the charging speed. You are getting your moneys worth here and actually paying for what you get. This is my 2nd Anker car charger (I've had the first one for over 2 years now and it still works great. I've been using these for 8 months now to charge my phone and they still work great. I live in a hot climate as well and I haven't had any issues because of the heat. The illuminated USB ports are a nice touch and go well with the blue lighting in my car. Really happy with them.

Non sbaglia, anzi stupisce anche stavolta con qusto caricatore usb fast charge da auto, composto da un design veramente accattivante, con il suo bel motivo in fibra di carbonio. ben 2 prese usb fast charge, che garantiscono una carica veloce a tutti i dispositivi idonei a questa tecnologia. ESPERIENZA Arrivavo da un normale caricatore usb, datato ormai, lentissimo nella carica dei dispositivi. Ormai ero esasperato e ho colto l'occasione di cambiarlo quando ha smesso di funzionare. Sapevo che per non riscontrare più problemi di velocità di carica, mi sasre dovuto affidare a nuove tecnologie. Avevo anche da poco acquistato un fantastico Galaxy S7, che supporta la carica rapida. Ho quindi preso la palla al balzo e ho fatto questo investimento. Certo il prezzo non è dei più economici, ma per un prodotto di questo livello, direi che è giustificato. Ho anche fatto riferimento ad altre ditte, ma dalle recensioni e dalla mia esperienza precedente con altri prodotti ANKER, sapevo che sarei andato sul sicuro. UTILIZZO Lo tengo sempre in macchina, attaccato alla presa accendi sigari, il suo design fa si che lo amiate dal primo utilizzo. Color carbonio, con luce blu che si accende all'accensione del quadro. lo lascio sempre inserito da grande patito delle luci colorate! È possibile collegare fino a 2 dispositivi, io collegando il mio S7 e il Huawei di mio fratello sempre con quickcharge, non ho notato rallentamenti nella carica. IMPORTANTE La carica veloce funziona soltanto con i dispositivi che supportano questa tecnologia, potrete comunque collegare altri telefoni anche datati: il caricatore riconoscerà la batteria del dispositivo, ed erogherà la giusta quantità di corrente, senza danneggiare il device collegato. Ricordate che per poter usufruire della carica veloce, dovrete necessariamente acquistare cavi idonei a questo utilizzo, i normali cavi funzionano ugualmente ma non facendo passare abbastanza corrente al loro interno, impediscono la carica veloce. Funciona perfectamente la QuickCarge 3.0, no se calienta y cumple perfectamente, cargando 2 dispositivos a la vez. La única pega el precio, se tienen que pagar los royalties a Qualcom... Calidad en los acabados, es plástico pero muy agradable al tacto y denota calidad.
