Such a cute idea for a goodie bag. However, I ordered 32 of these, and only 13 of the pens worked (the light).EDIT: After leaving this review the seller reached out to trouble shoot and wanted to replace the order. The event I needed them for had passed so they actually refunded me for both boxes even though I had handed out the pens that did work. Excellent customer service. The message they sent also said there is a way to get all the pens working, though I did not get a chance to try it:“Please be advised that the pens are not working because the batteries have not made contact with each other. But don't worry, this can be solved. To do so, follow these steps and your pens will work properly. 1- Re-insert the white plate and make circular movements with it, trying to move the batteries slightly. 2- Remove the white tape and check that the pens work correctly.”

Great surprise birthday party stuffers. The kids loved the mystery aspect of the invisible ink and reading each other's notes using the light feature. The notebook can be used normally as well.

I must say that this was one of the favorite things in the. Mermaid goody bags. Since I had never seen these beforeI tried one out and Imust say that I was impressed and happy I had bought them for my Great granddaughters birthday. I even saved an extra one for myself.I got the mermaids for the girls and the animal one for the boys.I highly recommend these for children of all ages. A happy 82 year old great Grama

Every kid at his party loved this!What I like on this product:1. The color selection is pretty good.2. The individual packaging is so nice that you don’t even need to put it in a goodie/party bags.3. I always use a detective theme with my class each year and try to find a similar themed gift for their holiday gift. This spy theme was close enough in my opinion and knew it would be fun my students. I did read a lot reviews so I knew I would have to check each one out and may have some or several that didn't work. Out of 36 only 2 lights didn't work (of course the first one I tried didn't and I then was concerned - I did follow the directions & it still didn't work.) Then I tried the ink and all worked, but 2 of the tips were slightly bent and their ink was faint. Also, the caps were tight and should loosen with use. I explained that to my students so they could get their parents help. I only needed 24 sets so this left me with 32 good sets. I have some spares to give to friend's kids. The packaging was nice and matched the notepad. I am pleased with my purchase and even better so were my students. 🙂

These spy notebook with invisible ink pens are well packaged, great gifts, or prizes.We used them as Valentine's day gifts with some treats/candy. The bag has a ziplock closure so we put some candy inside and the bag closed nicely.Great for class presents, prizes and or birthday treats where children might have allergies to different types of goodies, or snacks. Having a gift to take home with a light and able to write notes on the notebook was lots of fun. My 9 yr old in 3rd grade loved them. Great value, nice size for the Valentine's box, we put masking tape on the bag for names, worked awesome.I would definitely recommend and would buy again.

I bought these for my twins 11th birthday party/sleepover goody bags. I had asked them their thoughts on them before purchasing and they thought they were the coolest thing, so for the price and quantity of the product I couldn't pass it up. When we got them we had to open on and try, they were just as awesome as we thought if not more. They price was phenomenal for 16, the product is made with good quality stuff, they were adorable and the light was bright enough to see what you wrote on the page.
