This lil buddy takes abuse like a champ. I dropped it at least 10 times because I'm a clumsy fool at times, especially when I'm walking in a hurry to get places. My bad, but it doesn't seem to mind. Once it's set up, it works like a dream. You can adjust your stride inches so it counts most accurately, and you can set it to metric or US measurements, among other things. Really like the 24 hour clock system since I have a job that uses that time system and this helps me when I need to check the time and be correct. Thank you for this product!

I wanted to purchase a pedometer that does just a little bit more than count steps and did not cost a lot of money. This item fit the list just fine. A 2 star rating out of 5 for programming difficulties. But what do you expect for a product under $20? I believe there is a design flaw regarding the clip-on feature: When you pinch the clip to open, your fingers are right over the 3 buttons-so you have to be very careful not to mess up the settings that just took you 12 minutes to accomplish! I remedied this by reversing how the pedometer sits in the clip so now your fingers are over the screen portion when clipping it to a belt or clothing. This product also works if you just put in your pocket or wear it around your neck using the lanyard provided. It counts steps, miles, calories and has a 30 day calendar-if you program it right. For the money it is exactly what I expected.

It took me some time to set it up but once I had it set it works perfectly. I clip it om the waist band of my pants and it does not fall off as my previous pedometer did. Value for money! I also enjoy the memory feature.
