Good enough
Little flimsy, but for what its worth its decent. Comes with just the tool itself, no extra anything. In all fairness the only flimsy part are the handles, the punch area itself seems very sturdy. You cannot change the brass plate out though, its pressed in. So I'd be careful when punching to avoid pressing into the brass excessively as you can't replace it. (Not easily anyway). I'd recommend it for what its worth, if you need it here and there. If you rely on this daily then maybe get a better model.

Effective but difficult on soft fabrics
I know I bought this 2 years ago... I actually can't believe it's been 2 years. I don't use it often, but I use it to hole punch soft faux leather to feed paracord through when I make dice bags. Anyhow, this punch does not go through anything thin and supple. I was shopping for a replacement, when I thought to try a couple of things. I was FINALLY successful when I took a piece of corrugated cardboard underneath my fabric and THEN punched. Success! So now I made lots of 1/5" strips of carboard from old Amazon boxes (hey at least they're repurposed!) and keep them with my other supplies. I can't tell you how much I struggled and hurt my hand squeezing trying to punch my fabric. I'm sure if I was using thicker true leather like belts and such it would be fine. I also can't tell you how satisfying it was to hear that little "pop" sound as the punch passed through the fabric. And... and and guys... even better, the carboard did nut punch through, so it didn't add to the clog in the hole punch tube... whatever it's called.

Reliable, Easy to Use, and Built to Last – A Must-Have Tool for Leather and Craft Projects
The General Tools Revolving Punch Pliers (Model 73) exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re working with leather, vinyl, rubber, plastic, or crafting materials, this tool makes punching clean, accurate holes quick and painless. The revolving head clicks securely into place and offers six hole sizes, which is incredibly convenient—no need to swap tools mid-project. It’s been perfect for adjusting belts, repairing straps, and working on craft projects. The holes are precise and clean, even in thicker materials. The pliers have a solid, heavy-duty feel, but they’re still comfortable to hold and easy to squeeze, thanks to the ergonomically designed handles. I’ve used other cheaper models in the past that required too much force—this one gets it right. It’s also a great value. For the price, you’re getting a well-made, dependable tool that feels like it belongs in a professional’s workshop but is perfect for everyday DIY use.If you do any kind of work with leather or crafting materials, this punch is an essential. Clean cuts, easy adjustments, and no fuss.

Easy and professional job
Great tool, used it to make holes in suede white birkenstocks and it was so perfect , so definitely recommend for small use but there is many choices for size so I'm sure it will work great for all sizes .

Really packs a punch!
Super great punch, very easy to use without any prior knowledge. The grips are big and easy to get the leverage you need to punch through thick leather and materials. It may be slightly hard to use if you have very little hands, in that case you may find that the single punches you tap with a hammer may work better.I love the clutter free ability to have multiple size punches all in one tool. It makes storage much neater and everything I need is easy to find in one spot. It's also great on a project that I may need more then one size hole on.As for its punching ability, it great! It works better then a punch I got for almost double the cost! I used it to help be punch holes for grommets in a corset. The punch was easily able to cut through three layers of heavy material at once and leave a clean hole. The layers were stacked as follows-A layer of thick woven brocade fabric with embroidery-two layers of heavy rip stop canvasIt was a bit if a hand workout, but if you've ever worked with rip stop canvas you know it's not an easy material to punch holes into. There is a reason the military uses it for their items.Overall its a great heavy duty tool that really packs a punch!

Requires monster grip strength
I’m punching holes in a leather strap for purses and basket. Nothing exceptionally thick. This punch works…but…the tips aren’t sharp and operating the tool requires a grip strength that I’ll bet many (including myself) don’t have and and my hands are fairly strong. I have to place this on the carpet with the leather in place and then, using both hands and shoulder strength, reef straight down on it. It works, but I’m going to look for another model with sharp cutting tips and advanced mechanism that produces better results without all of the gyrations and huffing and puffing. I would not recommend this product.
