Great start to an Epic Fantasy !
What a way to enter a new fantasy ! Thank god I started this one ! Though it is not as fast paced as we would like for the first 70% of the book (part 1 and 2 of The Way of Kings combined, can't separate reviews between parts) , everything suddenly starts making sense at the second half and the " Sanderlanche " eventually occurs which more than just compensates the slow paced problem at the start. This huge book is divided into 2 parts By Gollanz publishers for convenience. This is the first part of the first book. The gollanz editions are economical as well as durable. Don't go for mass market paperbacks.I completed this book last year and I completed the Rhythm of War (book 4) few months ago and I'm waiting for the release of the final book ( Wind and Truth ) in the first arc.Definitely worth reading if you have patience ! Believe in the sanderlanche and believe me the characters are amazing! If you are new to sanderson books and if you are looking for a good book by sanderson to start with , kindly read WARBREAKER as it will ensure confidence in the author.

Phenomenal
Brandon Sanderson is great writer. After mistborn 1 this didn't disappoint and only hyped me up to complete the mistborn series as fast as possible and get into stormlight archive.Great writing, detailing, lore and wonderful start tot he story.

Sanderson at his best.
The book came in very good condition. The story and language is much easier to understand. Even for a beginner. However, the scope of this fantasy epic is much larger. Sanderson has his own distinc, utilitarian way of writing. So if you love prose, he's not for you. Regarding this specific book, however, it's very large. A thousand page giant. And this part is only the first half. The story is built up in the first part, so there isn't going to be much action. So don't go expecting that.

Amazing book but poor packaging
The book is amazing and one of the best which I have read recently, it's quite long winded so many might not find it to their liking, but nevertheless I urge you to give it a try and you surely will find it fascinating to read it.The only complaint I have is about the damages to the book, there is some bending at the corners of the book and a small portion of the spine is torn but unless you are extremly picky about the product condition, it won't matter much. But I will recommend the sellers and Amazon to improve the packaging so that it doesn't get damaged

Storm it!
This book is an amazing, epic, high fantasy. You know this is a good book when a chapter told from the minor characters POV is so good, that it draws you into the story enough to make you care. Every character and chapter is unique in its own way.The story hasn't dragged yet, and the illustrations are delightful to look at. I'm really curious about the short dialogues written at the beginning of each chapter.
