I have the larger filter system that is attached directly into my rain shower head so I thought I would give this a try with my body hand held sprayer (has 9 different sprays). Works so nicely and doesn’t get wasted because it’s only used via the hand sprayer. Feels soft on my skin and has a “fresh lovely lemon smell”. Not over bearing like some of the other ones I have tried. Kinda cool because I get double the filtration with a nice citrus scent whenever I use my hand sprayer directly on my body (don’t use it on my hair) but I guess you could. Give it a try and enjoy!

I love this shower filter! Simple installation. Smells amazing. I could tell a difference as soon as I started to wash my hair. It lathered so much better than usual! Also had more lather with my body wash so I will be using less of each. My skin felt like head already put on lotion as soon as I got out of the shower and my hair is so much softer. Highly recommend.

I love these shower filters! I wish I had found them long ago!! The building I live in is a historical building built the year before the big earthquake of 1906 in San Francisco, and the pipes are from then too. Ok, I don't know if that is true, but the pipes are old enough to get some rusty colored water out of the faucet if they are unused for a week. Also there is a strange smell I noticed on my washcloth after It is used. My hairdresser noticed my hair was turning frizzy and brittle and said I should look into a filter. I did try the little different colored balls that are supposed to remove the impurities, however one seemed to get stuck where it stopped any water from coming out. I passed these over the first time because of the cost. It seems like a lot of cash for 2 months of water filtering. But when my first attempt failed I came back to this. I have a very sensitive olfactory reaction, and the thought of water that was scented with nice smell was appealing. Then I saw all the other things in the filter and I had to give it a go. Water that smelled good and was good for your skin and hair?!?!? This is my 3rd purchase (the other 2 were different brands) and I love them! At first it was just the smell of the water and the slight scent it left on my skin and in my hair for the rest of the day. But after I had been showering with it for a few weeks I noticed (and others commented too) on how my skin looked plumper after I showered than before I showered. I have this little wrinkle from smiling beside my mouth. Before shower it was easily seen and after shower it was not noticable until I smiled. As a middle aged female that makes the money well spent! My hair is also in better condition, my hairdresser agrees, and is even recommending clients use them.YMMV but I am hooked!! I wouldn't recommend these if you have a small child or baby using the water the filter is attached too, and it says not to drink it in the instructions that come with it. I have gotten some in my mouth accidentally and it doesn't taste like regular water, and the taste stayed until I brushed teeth and tongue. I won't buy this flavor again, it smells good but I guess I'm not a fan of cherry blossom scent hence the 4 star review.This is one of those little luxuries that I will continue to buy because it makes showering a better experience.

The media could not be loaded.  Great concept, flawed design. I purchased this shower filter because it was listed compatible with handheld showers. The problem is, the part of the filter that screws into the shower hose is not deep enough to meet the rubber ring and create a seal. (If you need to gauge how deep the hose screws in, you can also see that the filter cannot screw all the way in at the top because the filter itself is too shallow) Even though the filter itself is screwed all the way in, it’s not creating a seal inside which is causing water to just leak out the sides. I unfortunately will have to return this because it’s wasting water.EDIT: I’ve decided to keep it, because I purchased rubber washers to stack and help create a seal between the filter and the shower hose. It seems to be working okay for now, but I am hoping the next iteration of this product will be a bit more compatible with other shower heads, or perhaps come with “extenders” so people do not have to run around a Lowe’s and Home Depot only to resort to purchasing rubber washers online like I did.I cannot say much for the efficacy of the filter itself just yet, but I am bumping up my rating to 3 stars. If the filter was a decent fit for my shower head from the get-go, maybe I would have given a higher rating.

Mine has NO scent. So for that reason I think that there is no vitamin c either. So total waste of my money. I’ve showered using it 4x now thinking maybe water needs to flow thru it first before it gives off a scent. Nothing.This is my 2nd time buying these shower thingies. The first time was from a different brand that cost more. Guess I’ll go back to ordering from them at least there product works.YMMV. Maybe I got a defective one.

The scent is wonderful! I can tell a difference in the water, too. It "feels" softer. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the length of the thing - if you have a lower shower head, this is going to make it even lower. I have used it about a month now and the scent is as strong as it was from the first day. Not sure why acacia scent is more expensive than the others, like lavender.
