THIS IS WHAT I ORIGINALLY WROTE:Very very cheaply made. The product is falling apart after 4 days of sitting on the counter. The back is not assembled/glued properly. Very disappointed. Stay away.After talking to the seller I want to update my review:UPDATE#1After posting my review I have been contacted by customer care and offered a replacement item. This proves that the seller really stands by its 100% customer satisfaction. This is great.I ended up being able to fix the issue using superglue and asked not to send a replacement, as after fixing it works just fine.For this reason I upped the review to 3 stars to compensate for the excellent customer service.UPDATE#2Customer care contacted me again to inform me that the product was indeed shipped.I want to be fair to the seller. The issue I had with the original shipment was that the back was not properly attached as per picture. The seller informed me that this could have happened during shipping, which makes sense to me. Despite the fact that the seller has no control over shipping they still offered right away a replacement at no cost and followed up several times to make sure my experience with them and with the product was excellent.Well, it is.The seller is just phenomenal in following up and standing behind what they sell. I definitely feel they are proud of they products and their service and that means a lot to me as a customer.The product itself, apart from the issue I described is a good product. I have several sizes of knives in the kitchen, ceramic and metal.this product allows me to keep them all handy, no matter what the size (the only limitation is that the knife cannot be wider than the wooden box obviously).Also one very important thing, ceramic knives chip very easily as you might know and I have struggled in the past with finding a way to keep them safe from damage. This knife holder does exactly that. No risk of damaging the knives.And also I like the fact that you can just flip the holder upside down and easily clean it.I hope this helps future customers.I had a bad experience at first, it can happen to anybody, but because the way the seller handled it I would say: go for it, and for anything else the seller offers, because I can tell you that if something is wrong with the product Molpal will make sure they fix it.From one to five stars because they deserve it and because they stand behind what they sell.

WOULD ORDER AS GIFTS ONLY if…I bought a similar knife block from an outlet store in Pigeon Forge and having never seen a knife block designed without traditional knife slots, I was intrigued. Brought it home and fell in love with its design! So easy to slip any knife into place without having to find a slot that fit’s its size! But when I had to move into a very small living space, I was getting rid of stuff I didn’t think I would need – and my daughter begged for it! After a few months of adjusting to my cramped quarters, I realized that the knife block was not a space hogger but a space saver! Not wanting to be labeled an “take-backer” by my daughter, I began looking for a replacement and ordered this product. I have never been happier with an online order ever! It is everything as described, works exactly as expected, and I have enjoyed this for about six months or so. Easy to clean, heavy & stable, attractive, and very functional. Knife Block Universal Holder Bamboo Kitchen Stand - Without Knives - by MolpalAmazon is doing the shipping. But for an older, disabled grandmother, it is too heavy to wrap and personally deliver as a gift – at least for me. I’m not sure how long the bamboo that secures the knives will hold over time or not, but I have no reason to believe it won’t. Seems good. About what we expected except that right out of the package it had these marks and dirt on it like it had rolled around on the factory floor for awhile. I washed it off and was left with the two marks you see in the picture. Not disappointed enough to deal with the hassle of sending it back but it’s still a little bit irritating.After leaving this review the company contacted me and sent a new one free of charge.
