We are pleased with the performance of this light. It's very bright, and the variable color temperature and adjustable illumination output are good features to have because they allow you to match your light source to the ambient light at the location (avoiding white balance issues) and open up creative opportunities should you want to pay around with white balance and color temperatures to see what happen. It's also convenient not to have to mess around with gels when you have to adjust the color temp.Not mentioned in the product specs is that it mounts not only on a camera cold shoe, but also has a provision for mounting on a camera tripod, a very useful feature. Includes a battery, charger, AC power converter and a car lighter plug too. The only thing missing is a carrying case. Dimensions, including the mount are just shy of seven by seven inches, and about an inch and a half thick not including the battery, which mounts on the back and adds about another inch.If you're buying an on camera light, you want the brightest you can get that's also dimmable. This is a good one.

I do alot of exploring in the dark and these are super bright and very compact. The light fits in my pants pocket perfectly when not in use.

CrAZY bright! But the gels didn't fit... so....Also, not ideal to have to change gels to change Color temp.... sorry, everyone else has it built in... yes, I know it's more fancy, complicated, expensive, hot, etc. etc....

I bought this light to help brighten the area when i take pictures of food for my food instagram... it works great!! Its small enough that i can fit it in my back pocket of jeans (itll stick out a little) or in any of my coat pockets.the battery lasts a decent amount of times, i rarely need to recharge. and when i do, its easy to detach the battery part and plug it in.theres a little wheel thing to turn the brightness up or down, so you can make it more or less bright, which i use all the time.i highly recommend this light if you are in need of one!!

Returned, lasted one day (if that) and now it does not work.. yet battery indicated shows fully charged. The unit is well designed, heavier .. I big issue that we saw was the use of a metal shoe. Many cameras now use smart shoes and this means you cannot use them in the camera/video camera without causing damage to the camera. BE AWARE!
