I bought this for my 13 1/2 year old golden retriever, who weighs about 90lbs. It fits him very well. Although he’s always been a great swimmer he is now having trouble with his hind legs and breathing. He still loves the water and to swim but I feared at his age he would get too winded trying to doggie paddle so I bought this. He doesn’t mind wearing it at all and it provides a good amount of floatation that if he chooses not to paddle it will keep him from sinking in the water. The neck floatation part made to keep the head from going under isn’t that supportive and migrates from under the chin so when we notice that happening we just grab the straps on top and readjust. Overall I’m very pleased with this life jacket

Fits very well! My dog is always super excited to get in the water and it was pretty easy to put it on even with her jumping around. It looks good and actually did a good job at holding my 90lb German shepherd up.

I never imagined I'd have a dog that can't swim... But I do. My dog (Bernie) doesn't know how to dog paddle. As the water gets deeper he tries to stand on his hind legs like a person would do. In water over his head, he paddles his front legs but not his hind legs and sinks like a rock. I'm convinced he would drown without intervention Crazy.This life vest has changed his life, and ours. Great for peace of mind and Bernie's able to play in the water. I bought the large one three years ago. He's a lean 60lb. It's easy to put on and take off and he has never complained that it's uncomfortable. The handles work great for throwing him in the water and pulling him out (this may have resulted in a ripped seam on his back). If in the market for a k9 life vest, this is a good one!--I totally recommend it.

So far I’ve received two jackets both size small. The first had a rip along the top so I ordered another because it fit really well. The next one arrived and as you can see in the picture it is clearly not the same size, specifically around the neck. It is way too tight and uncomfortable for my dog to wear. Hopefully the 3rd will fit better. If not I’ll order a different brand.Edit: The 3rd life jacket arrived and is even smaller than the two previous, this time around the torso. It had the same neck measurements as the smaller of the previous two.Also after letting my dog swim in the ripped one that I thought fit best, the part under his chin gets crooked and comes out from under the buckle that helps to secure it. It doesn’t hinder his ability to swim but looks like it’s not exactly providing any real benefit.I’ve decided to buy a different brand. My dog is right at the upper limit for suggested dog size to wear a small and I’m certain a medium would be too large. If your dog is well within the recommended size it may be just fine.

Got this for my 70 lb german shepherd, fit perfect as per the size guide (my guy was an XL) and was functional giving nice floatation. I used this as I was doing water therapy with my dog in a pool and it was exactly what I wanted.

Lo compramos para un Golden retriever que tuvo una embolia y necesita ir a terapia para poder volver a caminar este salvavidas realmente le ayuda porque le da soporte y puede utilizar sus piernitas para su terapia el perro es pesado de unos 40 kilos y lo soporta muy muy bien y con las agarraderas que tiene lo hemos podido sacar muy bien del agua y no se ha roto es resistente

Got 2 of them for rough collie.One is 36 kg so I got the XL size. This one fits perfectly.The other one is 24 kg so I got the L size. This one seems a bit smaller, but the XL might be to big.All in all they both look and feel great.
