Nifty weight clip
Seems to work for me. I don’t usually fish natural bait but this help to simplify rigging a weight further up a braided line and remove it when reeling in so you don’t have to hand line fish in.

Good product, very expensive
I saw these clips on YouTube. They are very creative and seem to work (I have not caught any fish yet on them). Functionally they seem great, I am just not thrilled with the price. There should be a buy in bulk price for people like me that make the mistake to let some fall overboard.

easy to remove
they are great bottom fishing and easy to remove when you are nearing your leader.

Held my 24ox bank sinker in 200’ and came back up in the same place.
I wanted a quicker way to remove the weight when Mutton Snapper fishing with long leaders. Well, I was skeptical at first. Wasn’t sure it would hold the weight in one place and thought it might kink the leader. It actually works very well. One time, there was weeds on the line that went down and caused the weight clip to slide all the way down to the hook but the other times it didn’t move. The clip doesn’t fit through larger weights but I was able to bend the clip and make it work. I may stop tying a loop knot in my main line and using drop lines to my weight and use the clip. I may try using a drop line from the clip and using the loop on the bottom of the dropper to change weights out for more or less current. Either way I’m buying a few more.
