I got this because its a little bigger than the Smokin Joe Weber grill I have and I am able to put a metal basket in it and close the lid. I wanted something small without legs that I could put on a table. I cook mostly vegetables and like to use the vents to control the temperature. Assembly was easy. I have 2 issues with the construction. First, the 2 rotating vents are stamped out and have holes which are razor sharp from the stamping process and I sanded them down so fingers didn't get cut. The other issue is with the paint. I got the all black model because it was listed as more durable if left outside. Before I finished assembly the paint had flaked off the top in several areas. I have only used it once but was able to control the coal temps with the vents. After I was finished closing the vents extinguished the coals so I will use less coal. The grill has a large cooking area for its size and you can empty the coals easily without getting your hands dirty. Over all a good grill but a little over priced.Update: Sorry, but after 2 days outside the areas with the paint flaking are already rusty. I know its humid in Florida but the Weber grill I have has been outside for several years with no rust. I will try painting it but would not recommend this grill.

I had a few areas that were hotter or cooler than others, but this may be operator error. It was great for a cookout with 15-20 people. The cooking area is great, especially for larger groups. After I got used to it, I had great results with both burgers and brats.

This is a great grill. It is well constructed and very durable. Unlike another review, I find the finish to be high quality and similar to the Weber grills I've had. I grill quite a bit (several times a week) and will save more money in charcoal than the cost of the grill. This grill has become my all-time favorite.

So far, so good, cooked twice using this product, easy to put together and well made!
