U.S. Solid 1" Brass Electric Solenoid Valve 24VAC Normally Closed VITON Air Non-potable Water Fuel

I installed this and a natural gas regulator on a 75,000 btu Bryant unit heater from the middle 70’s. This valve seems to work perfect. It is fairly quiet except for sometimes the metal cover contacts the coil and creates an electrical buzzing noise. This is easily fixed by just bending the black metal cover. For the price I can’t really complain. If you use this for gas like I did then make sure that you have some sort of thermocouple safety installed so that this valve will not open unless a pilot light is on and the pilot flame is burning properly.

I went thru a few plastic Orbit valves for my application and they always got stuck leaking to the output. This thing, although a lot more money, is worth it if you have any small debris in your water, like well water. This thing just works every time

I installed this US Solid, 1/2 in. 24 v.a.c., normally closed, solenoid valve in a natural gas house furnace. This valve was unreliable and would often stay open when the electric power was turned off. This was a real safety issue. The valve was either defective or not designed for natural gas appliances. I replaced the US Solid Solenoid Valve with a AceCrew Solenoid Valve with the same ratings. The AceCrew Solenoid Valve has worked perfectly and always closes when electric power is removed. I am pleased with the AceCrew Solenoid Valve after it has been in operation for four weeks. My understanding is the US Solid Solenoid Valve is nonreturnable.

Geothermal water shut off, works great, might shut off a little too quick causing pipes to rattle, can live with it. Great product for the price.

le produit semble fiable, je voulais remplacer une vanne en plastique qui est a remplacer tous les 2 ans, mais quelle déception. la vanne ronronne mais ne fais pas passer d'eau, le débit d'eau est trop important!!!, attention si vous avez plusieurs lignes d'arrosage, (j'en ai 4 ) les fils de raccordement ne font que 17cm!!! donc impossible d'en brancher plus de 2, de toute façons la vanne ne fonctionnant pas le branchement reste facultatif. attention, la vanne a également fait cramer l'alimentation du programmateur d'arrosage. produit a éviter absolument. au final cette vanne a totalement ravagé mon installation d'arrosage. j'ai acheté un ensemble programmateur + vannes chez aliexpress 3 fois moins cher et parfaitement fonctionnel.
