Good product. Fits well, feels good, and seems much sturdier than the first gen PS4 controller touch pads.If you got a PS4 around launch, odds are the rubber is worn and peeling off the sticks. These are put together differently and won't peel. They seem a lot like the sticks on newer models.Installation is not super-easy, but isn't difficult. It requires a very small phillips screwdriver (not included), but otherwise no particular tools or skills. You have to tear down the controller a bit to get to the sticks, so watch a youtube video of it first. As long as you don't lose any screws or small parts, you're probably not going to break anything. It is possible to dislodge the trigger contacts and end up with an unresponsive trigger, so be sure to double check that before you screw it back together.If you have a newer PS4 controller, these don't offer any kind of meaningful upgrade. They're strictly for repair. But they do the trick, and it was a lot cheaper than buying a new controller.

I couldn’t be happier with these! About a year ago the thumb sticks on both of our PS4 controls started peeling. I ordered two sets of the aluminum replacement buttons and sticks and installed them. They worked alright and I didn’t have to worry about peeling so I was happy. However my kids hated them and when they had friends over to play the didn’t like the aluminum sticks either. I decided to give these a try because the quality looked decent and the price was great. I had read other reviews about the slots not being drilled out correctly but i didn’t encounter that issue with any of the 10 sticks. They appear to be identical to factory. I will update later down the road as to their durability but for now I highly recommend them.

Just having wrapped up Spider-Man, my left joystick got a LOT of wear to the point that the rubber tore. Decided to go ahead and buy some replacement sticks and take a shot at replacing them. They fit perfectly! The only thing I think could pose a problem down the road is the sticks don't grip quite as as the originals. I imagine this is just the plastic and they don't feel as rubberized? With lengthy gaming sessions or your fingers getting sweaty I could see this possibly posing a problem. Fingers possibly slipping around the sticks more. But when it's all said and done, for under $7 and for 5 pairs...these are well worth it. Would recommend.

Awesome replacements. When replacing them, pay close attention to how the control comes apart, and reverse method to get it all back together nicely. Easy to do, but has small parts that need to go in the correct place.

Save your money and buy OEM sticks, these have been milled out by a monkey and as such are very loose and will literally fall off if you flip the controller upside down when reassembling. I have ghetto rigged it on using tape but it is definitely not worth the money.

These things are great! I think they're a little better than the originals since the rubber is a bit tacky and has a little texture on it. They are the exact same size as the originals and fit in the controller the exact same way. Be warned, you will have to take the controller apart to put these in. That consists of a little bit of careful technical work and 4 screws. Not a big deal, I did mine in about 15 minutes. I also replaced my trigger springs while I was in there. Great product!
