Generic GM 3.0 Fuel system cap Magnetic Green Green

Great little cap to keep debris from potentially entering your fuel system. Fits just tight enough feel solid. Typical printed material that should hold up since it really just a press in cap. No threads to strip or break. Plus, it appears to be made in Michigan, my home state! Some say the magnet is too weak, well it's just there to hold the cap when you are fueling. seems strong enough for the intended job. Better than tossing the cap onto your bed rail! The printed "Diesel Fuel Only" is a nice touch top remind my wife the truck take diesel unlike her Blazer.

It does its job, keeps dust etc, out of filler neck.

I own a 2025 Silverado. This cap is awesome and fits perfectly. Great protection for dust, mud, water, etc. Something you MUST have if you do any off roading.

Its not a fancy metal fuel cap but its my 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with LZO 3.0 Duramax diesel fuel fill tube perfectly. Easy to put on and easy to remove. Overall a goo value. I would have to assume it would fit any 2022-2025 Tahoe/Yulkon/SUBURBAN DIESEL application. It’s just snug enough not to be loose and provide a good seal but easy enough to pull on and off without much effort (unlike some expensive alternatives). A very small magnet with sticky tape backing is provided that you can stick to the inside of your fuel door (if plastic) that you attach this cap to when removed for fueling. Some people have stated that the magnet is weak and I agree but it holds the fuel cap while I fill up and thats all its supposed to do. If I drive off and hit a bump, Im sure it will fall off the magnet but shame on me for forgetting to replace the cap and close the door when Im finished.

VERY IMPORTANT !!!!!! A lot of people are saying the cap is loose. It is loose by design. If it fit tight it would create vacuum in your tank and your engine would not run. Those of you that instal o-rings on the cap to seal it our make it tight DO NOT DO THAT. When your engine uses fuel your tank gets lower and air has to get in there to displace the void. Diesel is constantly moving in your tank because it is a extremely high pressure system that returns fuel to tank. The cap is designed to cover the hole of newer vehicle cappless filler tubes. It is there so you do not accidentally stick a small nozzle DEF hose in your tank. Its sole purpose is to make you stop and think about which cap to remove. It is too easy to just stick it in the already open diesel fuel hole. The last quote I seen from this happening was $16, 338 to replace an entire fuel system. Someday you will see a giant class action lawsuit against auto/truck makers because they made these very poor design choices . Only use this great idea cap for a deterrent to a very costly mistake. The cap is snug so it won't fall off, yet easy enough to remove. Previous reviews showed the magnet used to hold it onto the fuel door as glued into place. I guess its been redesigned using a screw. No more fear of losing the magnet into the fuel tank.

Fits great super happy with it. GMC sierra 1500 2025
