These nail files are exactly what I was looking for. The grit is a little too rough for my fingernails, but perfect for my toenails. I just use a buffer to smooth out my fingernails. Will definitely purchase again

These are professional grade but I use them at home. Its the second time in about 4 years that I’ve bought them. I do not have professionally done nails but I like these because they are long, well made and work well on my type of nails. I like that they are curved a bit like your nail naturally is. I also like that I can get a good grip on them when using. There are no shortage of them which for me is good because I leave one in every room of my house so its available, also my purse and in the car. I’ve even at times been able to help out when somone was over and needed a file which I wouldn’ t want to “Share” mine with anyone. These work very well on both sides for a long time. They also don’t hurt you or over do your filing as long as you pay attention.

Great set for the price. For me, this is the perfect combo of a medium sand on one side and somewhat fine on the other. Nails feel fresh right after the first use.

Good, but use carefully, very abrasive, stronger than emery boards. Washable too.

I let my nails grow too long sometimes and needed to do some substantial filing. I bought the 240 grit for natural nails. I took them from 1 inch to 1/2 inch long. I found the grit to be perfect for the job, made short work of a really tedious job. Not too coarse and not too smooth, just right for natural nails. The shape of the nail file fits my hand like it was made for me. It felt comfortable in my hand and I didn't have to saw away until I got a hand cramp in order to file my nails down. I will definitely buy these again.

i cannot stress this enough, clean your boards if you get these for personal use. just get a cheap nail brush to dust the grit clean and they will last a long time.240 is enough to gentle etch nail surface or gently clean up around the cuticle.240 is enough to shape correct and even out the surface of gel - soft, hard, and poly. yes, i'm serious, no it isn't a lot of work. you will have more control over shape and evenness changes if you're just learning and you're probably using an e-file if you're more experience.240 is NOT enough to remove and debulk gel. you will burn through a board if you try, probably your nail too. 180 is, though 240 is safest around the cuticles when you're at that point, especially if yours are sensitive and/or easy to damage.use an old board to lightly file the edges (of the paper, not the actual board sides) if you are worried about paper cuts.

Great quality. Much more coarse than I thought they would be. Lessened n learned for me.
