I do love these buckets! I bought them for my son for when we go to the beach and they're perfect. Not the best for sand castles, but they're great for the water and even carrying sand or rocks around. The handle isn't super sturdy but it did handle rocks and sand being carried around. I love the collapsing feature because they take up a lot less space in the beach bag than the traditional bucket. Definitely would buy again if ever necessary!

Family of 6 here....so you can imagine the amount of beach stuff we lug....and you really NEED these buckets so your beach toy bag is NOT bulky and hard to manage....really seem to be made well and do fold down and appear to be easy to clean....A GREAT BUY FOR $$$ and very vibrant colors :)

I bought one of these buckets a year ago for a beach vacation. Sturdy, bright, and collapses flat. No brainer when it comes to travel, right? The surprise year round use we found was when my 2 year old niece developed car sickness. 20+ emergency uses later, it’s still going strong (and I have not had to get the back seat professionally cleaned!). And since it collapses flat it stores very nicely in the drivers seat back storage pocket. I’ve bought 4 more so that everyone’s car could have one. They went hiking two days ago and apparently ran back to the car to get it so they could try and catch tadpoles in the creek, and came back home with an assortment of rocks to decorate the garden with, so don’t underestimate the convenience of always having a bucket on hand when you don’t even know you’ll be needing one.

Whoever thought up collapsible / fold-able buckets is a genius and I wish I had their brain (slash their bank account! Hehe.) My three daughters have been playing with these this past Father's Day weekend, and daddy pretty much was chopped liver compared to these buckets. ;p (He didn't mind so much, they love to climb on him every other day of the year too...) And as their mom I love that these fold up nicely, are silicon, are beautiful colors, can go in the dishwasher, and... Oh wait. I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I?First off, these are a nice variety of colors and color combinations. There's a pink and cream bucket, a blue and grey bucket and a yellow and orange bucket so this kit isn't only for "girls" or "boys", but a nice variety that everyone can buy and love. Not that colors are for a certain kind of kid anyhow, my self proclaimed princess who only wears princess dresses is devoted to the color blue and will tell you seven times a day every day. These also feel very sturdy and I have no worries of them collapsing mid play time or getting destroy within the next month. The bucket itself it made with silicon, which is a cool, thick rubber like material and the girls really like that it's different then their other sand toys. And since it's silicone I can safety throw it in the dishwasher, I know I use them as sand toys but the dogs have also used one for a water dish so I'm glad I can sanitize it periodically. The silicon can be a little hard to collapse down, I had to work at it a little to get them to go flat again, but for space saving reasons I am willing to do the work for it. In fact that's my only complaint and the only reason I had to bring the rating down a star. Other than that I love, love, love these and would totally buy again or recommend to a friend.Also, makes a great bucket hat. Hehehehehe. I bought this for my kids as we were going to vacation via airplane and couldn’t carry anything clunky. These buckets were one of the best purchases ever! Kids played with itnimmensly! We used it to transport wet beach clothes, to cool drinks, to carry toys in it, to wash feet/car/toys of sand after beach…. So may uses! I swear i am never going to a beach/sandy vacation without these even when my kids get bigger. So handy!

Every kid should have a set of these buckets. My kids use them for everything! They have been bowls for their pretend food, used to carry balls, used outside for rocks and dirt and mud, and used in the bath for bubbles! They have held up better than expected. I love that they fold down for storing. Great toy staple.

The idea of these collapsible buckets was great but the reality left a bit to be desired. They are definitely easy to clean and transport from beach to room and take up very little space; however, they are not ideal for beach play. Small children do not quite grasp the concept that these buckets are not as sturdy as your typical sand pail and they do collapse easily.
