Is the sticky plaster part a thin film? The ones I have specify film and pad on the packaging .

No they are mefex white adhesive yo can get the clear see thrugh film ones but these are not them.they are very good dressings but not clear hope that helps

How big is the pad please? And are they suitable for sensitive areas (i.e. the adhesive)?

Good size can be trimmed definitely suitable for sensitive skin
