It is a good idea to understand three way switches before starting. That being said, very easy to install, very easy to program and works terrific. I have it in my garage so now I have more light than just the puny light in the door opener that comes on automatically.

This worked perfectly with my 3-way setup. I have one mechanical switch on one side and the Leviton on the other, and it works great in my garage. Previously, the light switch was behind the door, so I had to walk down the steps into a dark garage just to reach it. That’s no longer an issue—the light turns on as soon as I enter the garage. The manual switch still works as expected and will also time out, since the sensor functions with manual operation as well. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the auto-off feature cannot be disabled once installed. However, you can set the timer to up to 20 minutes if needed or simply wave your hand to reset it, so it’s not a big drawback. Very happy with this solution—thank you. Make sure you follow the directions as it must be placed where traveler wires go to the light. The mechanical switch must be placed where power enters from panel per directions you can not change this. Must work with a mechanical switch also.

It's tough to accommodate every electrical scenario but this unit will not work in my house because the box with the LOAD (where the sensor MUST be installed) is at the wrong end of the stairs. The sensor labeling itself is confusing (they use a "line" wire for a traveler) BUT the paper directions are very clear. Their call-in tech support was OUTSTANDING, speaking at the right technical level and not spending time on entry-level stuff.

Once installed properly switch work well. But, installation was a challenge since instructions were not clear.

ive been an electrician for many years and there stuff works but absolutely NOTHING is intuitive. I am going to do my very best to never ever buy there stuff again! go ahead buy it.. but if you will fight the install. very hard directions to follow, and this particular switch after 45min is still not working fully. horrible!!!!!!!!

Have had for a couple of years. It's worked flawlessly with our led fixture in the pantry. It was easy to set up. No flickering of the led's when off.

When I enter my house through the front door, the light switch is behind where the door opens so it has always been a pain to have to reach around it to turn on the light. I bought this and it is much more convenient to have the light turn on as I'm opening the door. If your installing this in an area with 2 switches , I would recommended installing these on both. Otherwise, there is no way to turn the light off once you turn it on from the regular switch. I'm not an electrician so installing was a bit more difficult than I expected. There are lots of YouTube videos though to help figure it out. You have to wire it so there is always power at both ends because you want the light to be on whenever motion is detected at either switch, regardless of whether or not the lights are already on.

Fonctionne parfaitement mais j'ai donné un 4 parce que les instructions de programmation sont difficiles à comprendre. Une fois parfaitement installée, je suis ravie que les lumières s'allument instantanément des que l'on ouvre la porte et s'éteignent après notre départ. Fini l'oublie de fermer les lumières. Je recommande cet interupteur mais il faut un peu d'habilité et de patience pour son installation.

This sensor switch is very versatile and can be used in various ways. I used it in vacancy mode to turn the lights off if left on and no motion detected. My wiring was 3 way and a little different than their diagrams but with a little thought the connections were easily determined. Important to remember that the other switch must be toggled twice to turn off. This is especially important to remember when first testing after installation or you will fool yourself into thinking you haven't installed it properly. Recommend for quality, flexibility and value.
