I accidentally drop this at the beach, believe or not, wipe it, and dry it.... then works normal again! also I dropped from my waist high accidentally on the asphalt, had no issue

Use for browsing, emails, note taking (very important to me which is why i bought it and this machine is very good for that)

Arrived quickly. Separate battery is easily replaced. Can limit charge level to 85% to prolong battery lifetime if left plugged in for long periods. Responsive screen with quality colour and decent brightness. While it has a good IP rating, I’d recommend getting silicone plugs for the USB and headphone sockets to keep water/dust from interfering with the contacts. Face recognition works fine but noticeably slower than an iPhone to log in, fingerprint recognition is near instant. There is a new/upgraded version of this released (autumn 2022) but as this model is now reduced in price it’s great value and responsive enough for most day to day tasks. In short, highly recommended.

It remains a trusted tool after much hard use. Battery is still good and the performance remains the same as when purchased. It's not five stars due to low memory, heavy weight, and medium hardware (screen, GPS sensor) options at a high price compared to its contemporaries. It remains "good enough"!

It's large screen plus (WiFi + Cellular) really make big difference from regular sized phones. I drop thinks, but It is rouge. The protection is very serious. Also GPS, Movies, YouTube, etc. all is more peasant. The down side is the camera. Its the same, I would say, not advanced quality similar to Galaxy Note 5. Galaxy Note 5 was a good phone, but I experienced better quality camera on Galaxy 9, that I also have. To be free of caring it I suggest using smart watch, so you will not miss call or text when you go to the stores, or appointments etc. Caring the regular sized phone is also not a grate pleasure. I'm happy with Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 8.0" 16GB, 3GB RAM. Grate product when you using it, but not when you caring it. Hey leave longer and wait to see how it will change. Some may never be satisficed. I'm very happy with what I have.
