I have read the other reviews here about this moisturizer, leaving a “white cast”. What some customers don’t understand is there is a ball inside of the product that will shake the product before you use it like a paint can ! That makes all the difference in the world. This is a fantastic product. I have been using it for a few years now! Not only am I a retired medical aesthetician, but I’m also an owner of three horses/equestrian and my skin is exposed to the sun more than most average users of this product. I have tried many SPF moisturizers, and not only is the consistency of this product, nourishing and moisturizing, especially for those in drier climates, but it truly does protect! Probably one of the best moisturizers on the market but DON’T FORGET TO SHAKE IT!

There’s nothing lightweight about this, it goes on super thick and leaves you with a white mask of sunscreen. It also stains your clothes white and smells gross. It’s literally a super thick sunblock that sweats off immediately, so you end up burning. It’s useless and gross.

Shake the bottle every use. There a white cast which does disappear shortly which is great so you know where you have applied it. This is moisturizing so I would not recommend for oily skin. I love this spf & I like the dewy look.

It's a bit thick and leaves a little white residue that eventually disappears, but it's highly effective as a sunscreen, does not irritate, and I think it leaves my face in better condition than before I was using it. You need to remember to shake the container as there is a mixing ball inside that keeps the elements homogenous. Best I have used to date.

This moisturizer can’t be worn alone because it’s got a serious white cast! Very white! It’s also got a little bit of grease to it, but all sunscreen does…

I use this in the morning after washing my face and before heading out on my bicycle commute. It moisturizes my face quite well and doesn't leave any noticeable residue. I've consistently used it as my only UV protection on my face in the Utah high desert and it holds up quite well, preventing sunburn and redness. Would recommend, and for reference I have combination oily type skin with non-pale complexion for a Caucasian.

So disappointed. I had high hopes but it is as thick as desitin cream and leaves a white cast over your face like Casper the ghost. I wouldn’t recommend. I had to mix it with another moisturizing spf in order to have it absorb into my skin because I didn’t have time to wash my face off.

I want to address some of the issues customers are citing regarding the coverage and thickness of this product. The trick is to mix this product with some of your usual moisturizer in your hand and then apply to your face. This will virtually eliminate most of the white color and lack of absorbency. This is my technique, and I have been very happy with this product for several years.
