I finally got around to installing this and it destroyed itself on the third pull. I would not recommend this product, it is very cheaply made and will not last.

Internal metal grabber broke after two pulls, replaced with my old pull start grabber and it works great...product has the thinnest metal you can use to make this so don’t expect a lot. Still am using it for what i purchased for but we will see for how long.

So I did get this thing to work but not as intended. The long thin spring thats supposed to catch the inner pawl spring is completely useless. And when it does do its job (which is once every 500 pulls) and the 4wheeler starts, that spring would grind against the piece on the crank and make horrible noises. I ended up bending that piece completely flat against the edge of the housing and bending the thicker piece thats right off the pivot spring to catch the inner pawl spring. The parking brake alone doesn't catch it but if you hold the brake a little tighter than the parking brake does, it works pretty good. And with the brake out, you cant turn the motor over at all. Id rather this mechanism not be there at all but I guess its a necessary evil when thats how suzuki designed it. I wish this was set up better from the factory and this spring was tough enough to do its job but I guess you get what you pay for.
