I've had mine for a year now and LOVE it! I can fit so much and from passport to Field note size. I purchased the passport size and came back to get the A6, which is currently unavailable. I really hope they stock those again. The quality of leather, stitching, pockets, amount of bands..you name it! It has it! I have seen complaints of scratching. You get this on any leather and travelers brand too. All you have to do is rub the spot with your finger and it goes away. Patening (think how you spell lol) is the look of the leather over time is gorgeous! I have been able to iron on two patches with no issues. The pen holder is great, fits most pens and fountain ones too. It goes with me everywhere as i tis my planner, notes and journal all in one so ease of use. I highly recommend even after a year.

I looked at a lot of "traveler's notebooks" here and in person at stores. I didn't like the floppy look/feel most had, nor the sense that the spine area gets crowded when there are multiple inserts. This A5 cover, with its sturdy spine reinforcement (giving it more structure, like a book) and four stretch bands, perfectly holds 3 dotted notebooks, a cardboard folder, and (tucked into the back flap's pocket) a softcover A5 Stillman & Birn sketchbook. The pockets on the inside front and back flaps are very useful for business cards, small rulers, receipts, and so forth--even a passport or passport-sized notebook for extra writing space. The leather is thick and a beautiful dark brown color, already appearing aged. Its surface is natural (not polished or sealed) and as such, shows scuffs and marks fairly easily. I love this since I plan to take it with me on all kinds of sketching and traveling adventures, and hope the memories and stories from them will be enshrined in future marks, scuffs, stains, and scratches. It took me a long time to decide to buy this but I am so happy with the purchase!

this is my first time writing a review in my life of purchasing on amazon. if you're between this travelers journal and another one GET THIS ONE! i didn't see many reviews for the A6 size so i was nervous but it just got here and im ecstatic! the leather quality is amazing (has that nice leather smell), none of that velvety feel you see in other brands reviews, the bands that hold your journals in place are snug but not so tight that they cause the leather to bend, it lays flat so it doesn't get in the way while writing, there's pockets and a pen loop BUILT IN, and so much more. value for the money is amazing. plenty of room on the inside as well for more journals, mine just haven't come in. excited to try the a5 size as welltldr: buy it. you won't regret it

When it first arrived, I was disappointed. I felt that the leather was too thick and easy to scratch. It looked and felt heavy compared to a previous traveller's journal I had owned. But I decided to stick it out and see if it grew on me.And, boy, did it grow on me! I've had this journal for about a month, and I LOVE it! The leather is supple and now has a nice "well-travelled" look, but the durability of the design and the quality of the leather still keep it looking classy. While it is heavier than my previous journal, this is because of the added pockets, reinforced binding, thicker leather, and stitching used in the construction. All of which will keep this journal looking great for years to come.I've added some small binder clips to the top edge of the front cover. They're useful for quickly adding important papers to my journals or for holding pages down and open while writing. If you purchase bullet journal stencils, the binder clips can also be used along the edges of the stencil and notebook to keep them in place while you trace them. The A5 stencils fit nicely in the back pocket of the journal.The pen loop is ridiculously large, so it won't hold most pens unless those pen have a strong clip. However, the Kaweco Sport travel fountain pen fits PERFECT. If you are a fan of these pens, you will definitely be pleased.I've found the Miliko A5 Essentials grid dot books and Staedtler 0.3mm Triplus Finerliners to be perfect companions to this travellers journal. I keep my Kaweco in the pen loop for signing and decorative writing, but I usually use my fineliner pen as my page marker for daily journaling. OMFG! This is the bargain of bargains. Anything close is double the cost, or more. The quality of the leather and elastic is top notch. The card slots are a welcome bonus. It holds three journals…a daily diary, a BuJo and a blank insert for doodling. Highly recommended! I wish the pen loop were thicker or used some elastic to support bigger fountain pens, but it’s fine for what I need. Don’t wait. Buy one.

Amazing product, exactly as described and great quality leather. It’s beautiful, sturdy, and simple. It’s already made life easier to have all my notebooks in one place, I’m obsessed with this thing!I do wish there was a leather edge protector on the exterior elastic for the A5 size (similar to the one included on the smaller/standard size), the cover is gorgeous and it would be nice to prevent indentation from the elastic.

I did so much research to make sure I bought the right traveler’s notebook and I am so glad I went with this one. The quality is great and the price is right! Looks great, smells great and exceeded my expectations. Great gift idea and will definitely be back to get another one! Shipped quicker than expected as well! For reference this is the pocket size.
