Excellent quality. The glass is thick, with great capacity and airtight lid. Ideal for drinks, fermentations, or storage. Very satisfied.

It has a heavy duty lid and not plastic.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed it for a lamp base and I needed a heavy lid that I could drill a hole to install the lamp part. It is now filled with sea shells.

Bigger then expected
Jar is HUGE! Perfect for what I needed it for which is bath bombs. The opening is wide enough to reach in comfortably. Will be ordering another for a cookie jar in the kitchen!

Nice jar; lid does not seal
This is really nice, I like it a lot, the perfect size to brew my sun tea. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the lid doesnt seem to have a tight seal. If you pick up the jar by its top, the lid pops right off. That is fine for me, doesn’t cause me any problems because I’m not storing anything in it, just brewing. Other than that, good quality, clear glass, nice design.

Lid is trash
It's glass, hasn't broken yet. But man the lid is trash, you can tighten it as hard as you can but the metal will still flex and if you're holding it by the mouth the lid will let gallon slip and fall... Twice now this has happened, I thought I didn't tighten it enough and it turned loose, no it flexed off the jar. Past the return window but maybe I can save some poor soul the hassle of having to pick up dog food out of dirt.
