Awesome little tool . A must have for small areas. Excellent quality.

I bought this based on That Kilted Guy's recommendation for removing popcorn ceilings. I tried it with the Homax scraper, which didn't work at all, and I tried it with a 9" sanding disc attachment and found it too heavy to use overhead. I also found I was only using it at full length on my 8 ft ceilings, so I just got a cheap 5 ft pole which was much lighter and worked much better. HOWEVER, when it came to painting walls, this was a great tool to have. The heft of it helps roll straight, smooth lines, and the infinite adjustment helps get in tight areas like closets without having to change poles. So far I have no concerns about durability, the pole seems beefy and well made.

We bought this Extension Pole in preparation of painting the exterior of our home. I'm sure it saved us hours of time moving and adjusting ladders because we were able to apply our large roller to areas with ease and direction by simply adjusting the extension as needed. Great tool, great price.

With the quick release you can move from a extension handle to just the roller fram. Makes this great for hallways. I'm 5'9' so the 2' to 4' length is great for 8 to 9 foot ceilings.the sturdy pole will adjust at any point from 2 to 4 feet. You can get adapters to make any roller fram that can thread on ,work with the quick connect feature.

As a professional painter in NYC, I carry my tools to every job. And one of the most necessary tools for a painter is a pole. We use it for painting and sanding, so it needs to be convenient and reliable. The purdy power lock matches that criteria. Pros: If you have a purdy handle(I do), then you don't have to untwist to take your handle off. One click and it pops off and you keep moving. The ability to set the extension of the pole to your liking is also a welcome feature. You're not forced to lock in at certain increments. And last. The rubber at the end is very durable and feels good to the hand. Not to mention, if you work small spaces you may have a tendency to hit the wall behind you while using your pole. With that rubber end, at least you won't gouge the wall or hurt someone. Cons: It's a bit heavier than I like, so carrying this pole around with other tools isnt exactly practical. Takes some getting use to. The mechanism that's keeps the stick extended tends to wear down after a while, causing the stick to retract when you apply pressure.

Very sturdy. This has a great range for standard wall heights. Top quality construction. The only issue is that the locking mechanism did not work well with my roller frames.
