Pleasantly surprised with these! Handy storage crates that easily fold down to take up less space when not in use. Easy to open, just lift up the long sides and the shorter sides drop into place. Just push the bottom corners to snap them into place. Stackable. I put one in my Jeep to keep junk in. One has all my my car wash stuff. One in my closet. But the main reason I bought them is I am using one on my rear bike rack. It's nice that it folds down flat. So if I'm cycling with a lot of gear, trip to the store, or whatever I can open it up and pack it full. And folded flat I can bungie something simple to the top of it, like my jacket if I don't want to ride around with a full size crate on the back. Plastic is strong. I drilled 4 holes in the bottom and bolted it to the bike rack. No worries about the plastic cracking. In the open position it stays open on its own fairly well. You need to push all the lower corners in for it to collapse down flat. Overall I am pleased. No complaints.

These crates turned out to be perfect for the purpose for which they were bought. I needed some pantry organization for items strewn on the floor, and I wanted crates that were not so tall on the sides that you couldn't remove items from the sides, only from the top, and these fitted the bill, 100%. Now my pantry looks a lot tidier. These are very easy to fold out and to fold flat, which makes unused crates super simple to store until they're needed. Reasonably priced, I would repurchase these crates should I need more.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because you have to really make sure they latch into place, otherwise they'll collapse on you. With having said that: once you ensure they're securely in place, they work great. I also like it that when you're finished with them that you can collapse them for easy storage. I bought them to 'cure' black walnuts in, so after the curing process I have no need for them until the next year.... so being able to collapse them and store them until the next season is pretty handy. In the end, I'm happy with this purchase and I would buy this brand again if I needed more.

They are easy to fold, BUT if you do not pay attention they one side of the latch never truly locks unless you press it in all the way. That is you have to make an effort to make sure its locked, not just pick it up and push the sides out. It is VERY sturdy. Using them for deep freezer baskets to keep food types sorted. Good Strong handles easy to grip, and does not appear to be fragile even in the cold.
