Preliminary experience great.
With only one moderate snow of note, the review is of a limited experience. Nonetheless, the performance has been at least as good as that of Komperdell and Leki Trekking Poles that I have used. The fixation system for the Nordic poles is adjustable, stable and has robust function. My experience with Komperdell has noted some loss of hold in one pole and need to reinforce this juncture with loss of the telescoping feature. The particular Leki poles had one partially lose its rotational hold with subsequent flexion failure at one joint that currently requires repair-should I decide this to even be worthwhile. I would hesitate to say that I have as much time using these as I would like for this review, but see little likelihood of any better-experienced review until next Winter. With the incomplete nature of my experience, I caution those reading to seek confirmation by others.

Best Trekking Poles, Best Service
After a recent knee replacement, I decided to go with poles instead of a cane. I tried several - Leki (very little shock suppression,) Back Diamond (pretty good shock suppression until the shock system broke on the 4th day,) and several lesser known brands. I finally decided the shock systems were more of a problem than a necessity. I decided to try these York Nordic Bamboo and Carbon poles. Yes they are quite handsome - well...it is still a pole...but nicer looking than any others. The weight is light - really light. The grip is good and carbon, with no shock springs softened the ride reasonably well. This York Nordic is my favorite of all I tried.

Better than a Cane
Had a broken part but Lauren Identified the issue and had a new part out to me the next day. Which is awesome since I’m a disabled Young vet and it has allowed me to walk painfree without a old man cane I had. It also allows me to return to the grass safely and pain free with the light weight and durability of carbon. I might not be Climbing Mountains but I made a mountain of progress!

Great Poles at a Great Price
I am disabled and use these for balance in lieu of a cane. Much more versatile. In my former life, these would have been great for hiking. Very light, sturdy and great looking. I wish YorkNordic had furnished these with all metal knurled nuts for the locks. My experience with another set of their poles was that the plastic nuts break readily. Luckily they are easily replaced.

Worth the money
Love them. I use one for a cane quite a bit.

I love these poles.
I love these poles. I have just reached the age where hiking poles become necessary (not just an option). These are lightweight... and three different pole tips to choose from. Already lots of comments from fellow backpackers.

They Work As Expected
If I were using them for hiking, I might be concerned about the angle of the handle relative to the shaft of the poles. At this point in life, I am just using them to keep my wobbly old legs steady. They are nice and light so that helps this old guy.

great product great value
I didnt expect a 70 dollard carbon pole to be good. just not wanna spent too much for a contigency. but it turned out great and I started loving using it.not a fanatic reviewer but to me a new product with few reviews really need some review to assure its good quality and it totally desearves it. *** some review says the head easily get lost in mud so was mine but to me it's fine

Great product for the price
I was looking for the ultralight poles for the upcoming hike in the mountains. These poles are really light and easy to use as oppose many "ultralight" fakes on amazon that I had to return. I hope these poles will last lost. Thinking of buying one more pair for a friend of mine.

Light weight and durable for long or short walks
I liked everything about this product the easy adjustment height with markings. The easy locking mechanism to stay at the desired height. It is very light weight with very good strength and durability. I use mine every morning for my 9 km walk and would highly recommend this product for anyone who walks.

Have to be adjusted properly for your height.
I like them because they help with my balance when I walk. Helpful walking on ice and snowy sidewalks.|I like the fact they have multiple tips.
