Dr. Jang's SAT* 800 Math Workbook For The New SAT - Second Edition 2nd Edition

I'm giving this a 5, even though it has some typo-type mistakes in it. Dr. Jang has organized his book in more usable way than any other SAT prep book I have seen (I tutor Math and test prep). You can practice by question type, specifically focused on the type of questions actually found on the test, and he has them organized by level of difficulty. The answers and solutions are right next to the problem, in smaller font, so you don't have to go back and forth to the solutions. Also, the main font size is larger that the other books, the paper is heavier, and there is room to do your work right by the problem. I have found his strategy section very useful in working with students. Lastly, there are 10 mock tests included. If you are only going to buy one book, this would be it.

I have been looking everywhere for a book like this. This is the best book one can buy for the new SAT. Dr. Jang's SAT 800 book contains information about the test, helpful strategies not found in the Official SAT Study Guide, thoroughly dives into each topic in the math section, and the most amount of quality practice problems out of all the major new SAT math books out there. I was a little hesitant buying it at first because the book did not have much reviews, but it was 100% worth it. I usually don't leave reviews for items, but I was just so excited about this book that I had to give the good review it deserves. Dr. Jang, I owe you my future 800 on the math section!

This book is awesome. I've been tutoring SAT for a while now. I found this book the game changer for students who are striving for the 800 and willing to put the work in. Most of the kids that I tutored improved their scores drastically. My daughter received her score today and she received an 800.

My younger brother loves math but was <100 points away from getting a perfect score. Gifted this to him to use as supplementary prep for his next SAT test. He likes the practice tests. Lots of pages on this one!

I did get this book from another site. But I chose here to leave a review since here would have more people reading. I am giving this book a 5 start. It is a professional SAT book and more than just a list of questions. Considering how many questions are there, it is a very good deal. You can practice on specific question type if you are weak on a certain one. There are an adequate amount of questions there for you to get better at it. The formatting is clearly managed. There is enough information on there that explains everything just so well. The solutions and explanations are also sufficient. There are also 10 mock tests that are really helpful to get ready. As long as you can time yourself, it feel just so realistic. I would recommend this book to any level of students. Even you were already good at math, anyone would benefit from it. Who doesn't like a higher score?

This is for second edition. Newer 2018 edition is already available. Amazon has all three editions on sale at almost same price. Why should anybody buy older edition when newer edition is available. Either Amazon or author should inform customer about newer edition.
