Bonnet Hair Dryer (Regular, Yelllow)

Ok to get this out the way it does NOT have 3 temp settings. There are 2 temp settings and an off setting. After yrs. of using the microwaveable cap this is a tremendous improvement. I love it. I only use the low setting which gets warm enough combined with the heat of my head in the shower cap. I'm terrified of heat damage so low got the job done well for me.

Love this fits perfectly over my Locs and has a nice case for everything to fit in! Update it truly is the best so happy I choose this one!

So happy I found this product. I saw an Instagram ad and immediately came to Amazon to see if I could find it cheaper. I did. I didn’t give 5 stars for value for money though because there are cheaper vendors on Amazon who even offer more items with the purchase for cheaper but I settled on this one because it had more than one design on the cap and I needed to buy one for myself and one for my sister. This product will now be a staple for me when I travel and during every wash day. It’s nice and portable and I can steam my hair while I stand at my sink! Before I would sit under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes and steaming my hair is a must so this was a hassle but now I can multi-task. Steam hair and wash face and brush teeth all at once. It gets pretty hot though so be careful. Also I use a plastic bag instead of a plastic cap with it because my hair is too long to fit in a plastic cap so some of the ink from the plastic bag rubbed of on the inside of the cap.

I deep condition my hair after every wash. Yep believe it. EVERY WASH. FOR YEARS! I have use hooded hair dryers, micro wave caps, other plug in caps and steamers. My hair is 4B low porosity. I need the heat to allow for better absorption. This pleasantly surprised me. Heated up really well and covered my above average big head. I have spent triple the amount for heating caps that didn’t heat as well. I will be ordering another as heaven forbid they stopped selling these.

This didn't work as I had hoped for my curly hair. I does dry well and is easily compacted for small spaces or travel. I was looking for a bonnet that I could use while putting on my makeup and this didn't work well for me. The blow dryer that you attach it to must be in the right position for the air to flow into the cap, not just laying on a vanity. Also. When I moved the smallest bit, the bonnet tube would come off the hair dryer. Finally, I need some lift at my roots and this just compresses the hair to my head.
