Were it not for Dr Costanzo, I wouldn't have been able to understand the fundamentals of Renal, Gastrointestinal, Cardiovascular, or Respiratory physiology. For anyone trying to learn physiology, this is the ONLY source to learn it from. Everything you could possibly ever need or want to know can be found in this book.

Dr. Constanzo was my physiology instructor many years ago when I was a pre-med student. It was the hardest undergrad course I ever took, but I loved her teaching and personality. She is the best instructor! Simple language, just the essentials without wandering, medical case examples included. I bought this as a reference book for my grandkids.

I bought this book as a recommendation from my professor to supplement our course text. Costanzo's Physiology does a nice job of simplifying and clarifying concepts. I would highly recommend this book for anyone studying medical physiology.
