So far, I’m really pleased with my Rainbow light blue Bialetti. It’s eye-catching and looks good! After reading reviews that the paint discolours when exposed to a naked gas flame, I make sure I place it on the smallest gas ring and ensure the flames don’t go above the base.I like the fact there is a water line inside and it has a quality feel. I wondered where it’s made and I think it’s Romania - see photo of base.

Bialetti is basically a sacred among my Italian friends and now I know why. I'd been disappointed by a lot of moka coffee but after making sure to watch a tutorial so I know how to use it properly I'm having lovely round, fruity coffee every day and I have stopped buying it from coffee shops. Somehow it's also stopped making me paranoid- not sure of that's a difference in percolation or because it's so nice to use!

Having purchased 22/6/20 I have been nothing but disappointed with this supposedly high end mocha pot ! From the start it leaks from the lid where the handle attaches to the body dripping over the stove & now I’ve noticed the paint enamel is bubbling up around the rim of the water pot !! It also has a strange metallic smell to it despite being washed !! In all a piece of crap which I will be returning for a refund & going back to using my £5 EBay mocha maker

The paint blistered at first use … I have others in this brand and never happened before … it felt like this was a second so I returned for refund.

I purchased this coffee maker from Amazon at end of 2020. Chose it Bialetti as its Italian made and love the yellow colour! I thought would last an eternity and, as a coffee lover, coffee making will be a pleasure. Today, as I was having my morning coffee making routine I noticed that it had Cracked the metal near the handle!...... Now, when holding the coffee maker moves around and it hasnt fot the same grip. Not very pleased with this I have to say :/
