Q: Is this knife full tang?

Simple science, the knife is steel. I used a magnet to try and determine the dimensions of the tang. I speculate that the tang is a trapezoid shape. On the spine side of the blade, the tang goes back the furthest, about 1 inch. On the cutting edge side, it is shorter goes back about 5/8 of an inch. I didn't try to be precise, so let's say ± 1/8 inch.

Q: Can you sharpen this knife?

Yes, I easily sharpen mine at home with a diamond sharpener. Using 4 different grits ---200, 300, 400, 600, I can quickly & easily get it razor sharp. So sharp it will cut just by touching it. I use a steel for touch ups in between. I've used it daily for the past 9 years and it still looks and performs perfectly. Since it is so small and I use it all the time I hand wash it. Just need to be careful not to cut up the sponge/dishcloth. It holds it edge well but like I mentioned it is a daily workhorse in my kitchen so in order to keep it super sharp I give it a quick touch up sharpening weekly. If you don't care if your knives are razor sharp or don't use it daily, sharpening once every month or 2 would probably be adequate.

Q: Does it come with a sheath?

No, it does not come with a sheath. It is a very sharp, excellent paring knife.

Q: Two questions: is the handle long enough to be comfortable? In your experience, did it take 1- 2 months to ship (as they now say) using Amazon Prime?

We have the item in stock, so it wouldn't take nearly that long to ship. The handle isn't any shorter than a standard kitchen knife. It is very comfortable.
