25 Yards Polyester Boning for Sewing - Sew-Through Low Density Boning for Corsets, Nursing Caps, Bridal Gowns (White, 6mm)

Used this boning for a sewing project. Was exactly what I needed. Don't need to repurchase only used 24". Have enough to last for a long time.

The item is described as being 6mm wide in the headline, but 10mm wide in the description section of the ad. I guess when I read the more descriptive description, I believed that one! I thought it would be wider. The product is too narrow for my use. Returning it. Seems to be of acceptable quality, though.

Over time boning likes to poke out of garments as it shifts and wears down the material at the tip. but I order this and sure enough you can sew right through it so I ran a stitch down the middle to prevent even the slightest shifting of the boning. Note this is not supper stiff boning for shaping one's body. It is for shaping the garment.

Inserted and tacked in face masks behind the elastic string to keep the elastic from scrunching the mask and pinching the tops of my ears.

This is a very good product. I used it to make masks. I will likely order some more.
