I found a way to make analog triggers work on Windows
The media could not be loaded. (I'm Japanese and using DeepL Translate, so apologies if my English is weird)I was looking for a controller that was small, took up little space, and could enable analog input with L2R2.I purchased this product because we thought it would be the smallest product available on the premise that an analog trigger could be used. I imported it from Amazon.com because it was not already sold in Japan (Amazon.co.jp).I was having trouble enabling analog triggering with this controller by itself, but I discovered that it can be enabled by using "8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2" (hereinafter referred to as "DONGLE") and firmware version 2.03β*.* The message in the video that appears when searching for "8Bitdo SN30 Xbox Android RT LT Problem FIX" is used. Finally, I was able to rocket start the car with the Model 2 Emulator Daytona USA (the accelerator must be input in analog. adjust engine RPM from 6 to 7). As an unexpected added value, I thought it was good that this product can be used on any PC by simply replacing the DONGLE.It is true that there were a few trade-offs with the smaller size that I was concerned about and not happy about, butthe ability to do that thing alone was worth the purchase for me, and I am mostly happy with it. That's why I gave it 5 stars. The advantages and disadvantages can be summarized as follows.Advantages:1. Small size saves space in your bag2. Enables analog triggering on Android and Windows at least (physically impossible with regular SN30?)3. When using the DONGLE, Xinput can be enabled without running third-party software such as X360ce4. Simply replace the DONGLE with another PC and you can use it, no need to re-pair between PCs (Switch is one of the DONGLE's compatible devices, but I have not tested it, so it may not work).5. The product is already certified (201-200623), so using it in Japan will probably not be a problem.Disadvantages:1. Windows requires superfluous thing (DONGLE) to enable analog trigger input.2. No vibration (this is a trade-off with the small size and light weight that must be tolerated)3. No grip, and to be honest, analog triggers are hard to press. (This can't be helped as we are aiming for a smaller size. We have to tolerate the same and get used to it)4. The analog trigger cannot be enabled in the standard way. The fact that we had to devise a way to do this using a questionable beta firmware is in itself unsatisfactory.5. Some software may not recognize analog triggers (may need to revert firmware to 2.02 again).6. Controller power off needs to be pressed and held for about 7 seconds (after removing the DONGLE, it turns off automatically after a certain period of time, but this is a little inconvenient compared to, for example, DS4Windows, which has a function to turn it off in an instant when exiting the software).7. Android users need to unpair the DONGLE once and then re-pair it (the DONGLE itself is not fully compatible with Android).8. Possible durability issues (from what I've seen in other reviews)

Officially supported for Windows with 8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2!
I just want to follow up on the review from the Japanese buyer. This controller is compatible with Windows officially. It states on 8bitdo's website that you can use this with Windows if you have the 8bitdo USB Wireless Adapter 2I did just that, and it works flawlessly. Both with Steam games and Microsoft Store games. Literally plug and play. Yes, you have to hold the Xbox button for 7 seconds to turn it off, but it automatically reconnects after you plug in the adapter and turn on the controller (after setup)And the analogue triggers work way better than what you might expect from this size profile. I drift with an Xbox controller on Forza Horizon 5, and I can do it 80% as well after 15 minutes with this controller. I imagine with time, it will be no handicap at all.I know this is a niche product for a few people, but if you're looking for the smallest controller with dual sticks and analogue triggers to use with Windows, it is absolutely possible with this, and is technically officially supported.

Fun and easy to ser up
Easy to set up. Works like a charm. Just beware that it says it doesn’t work with xbox. I use it with my iphone, ipad air and PC, and I haven’t had any issue so far. It’s been like a month.

Doesn’t work with wuthering wave on iOS
Edit:It works, just need to boot it using “X + start” to put into xinput mode! It’s pretty weird as it connects, could trigger a few iOS related things like screenshot, Game Center, but the real game part does not register from it at all. I didn’t bother to try other games since this is the main reason I bought itI tried with my real Xbox controller and it worked flawlessly, so probably more of problem on the 8bitdo controller side.

Disappointed – Doesn’t Work with iPhone or ROG Ally
I purchased the 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro Bluetooth Controller expecting it to work as advertised with iPhone and other supported devices, but it was a complete waste of $40. Despite multiple attempts, it would not pair or function properly with my iPhone or my ROG Ally gaming console. The product listing is misleading, especially for Apple users. This controller may work for some Android devices, but it absolutely does not deliver on compatibility for iPhone, iPad, or macOS as claimed. Save your money and look elsewhere if you’re planning to use it with any Apple device or modern gaming handhelds. Very disappointed.

The reason why this is commonly returned is that it doesn't connect to PC
The few people who have successfully connected it to their PC had button inputs issues and require additional software to map it.For a Xbox cloud gaming device, many people would assume that this should work on Windows PC as well. I bought this because the other SN30 controllers have the A-B layout swapped from an xbox one. But the xbox version of SN30 has the right layout, but can't connect to PC.

So far, so good.
So far, it's worked flawlessly. I'm using it on a 4K FireStick with the Xbox app. Mainly for older 2D games that remind me of the SNES days, with a controller that's literally shaped like the SNES controller. No connection issues, stick drift, sticky D-Pad or lag that I can tell. I'll update it if it goes sideways. I had the SN30 Pro before and it was messed up on arrival. This controller though, no issues at all so far. As a kid of the 80s growing up with the NES/SNES, this is just something I needed lol.
