Twitch til' ya drop ! This is the beginning of 1 of the best bands
I am a huge fan of Ministry ! This is the start to the progression of industrial metal from Uncle Al, taking the band in a heavier direction, taking it from the days of synth pop & almost disco- techno (which I also enjoy) but man, this is just a killer groove from start to finish. Starting with the sweet intro Just Like You,talking about the politricks that run our world. The song is just cool, driving rhythmic beats and sweet drum patterns. The track All Day (original & remix) are both sweet, spacy and catchy, remaining 1 of my favorite songs throughout the entire catalogue of Ministry. Over the Shoulder (12" version & original) are both sweet, just a great song about our systems compulsory behavior of consumption & disguarding. The track Isle of Man is another driving rhythmic track. Crash & Burn/Where You at Now is another killer. All in all its hard for me to write a review for this album, because it's pretty much all programmed music, all preformed by So for the most part. Production by Adrian Sherwood & Al both did a great job,cuz production wise...its phenomenal ! The whole album from start to finish is great, just a sweet industrial mechanized album, and it's just the start of the great history that Ministry paced along the years. This is a step up from With Sympathy, altho it's kinda similar.only in the sense of the fact that it's just Al,& it remains a danceable & mellow album with great groove bass & precision throughout. This is before the heavier industrial albums (Mind & Psalm 69 & So on) this is a tad more mellow than Land, and heavier than With Sympathy. All in all the album stands up as flawless & I'd recommend this album to metalheads, techno & industrial,as well as pop/synth style. The album is great for fans of any genre of misic,it's catchy but still heavy, but remains danceable. If you know Ministry than you know it's an album not to pass up. Twitch Til' ya drop !

Near perfect
This is an album that I use to play a lot on Friday nights when my friends and I were on our way to a show, or the city, or just for a good time out. It gets you pumped up. I think it's a really solid piece of work, near perfect. It's industrial, yet it's not. Whatever it is classified under, the album works. It is my favorite Ministry release. As far as the other Ministry releases, I much prefer the earlier to the recent.

Electronic Classic
An underrated electronic Classic. Produced by Adrian Sherwood of Tackhead and On-U Sound, it stands out for its harshness and beauty sounding anachronistic for 1986. Throw it on today, in 2015, and it still sounds like music from the future.Good companion albums from the same era are Cabaret Voltaire's "Micro Phonies" and Gary Clail/Tackhead Sound System's "Tackhead Tape Time".

Excellent
Ministry has evolved a lot over the years and they always seemed to be at the forefront of the direction music was heading.

This is NOT industrial at all
I don't know why other reviewers keep calling this Ministry's entry into industrial music. There is only ONE thing on this record that has any similarities to today's Ministry, and that is a few voice excerpts from movies or wherever. Otherwise, this is a PURELY synth electro pop record you'll find played at your local dance club. If you're a fan of today's Ministry Metal/Punk/Industrial tunes, DON'T buy this record, it'll disappoint. Now I know this is sounding like I hate the record, which I don't, I just don't like it very much. I can listen to about 2 tracks on this record but that's it. All the others just seem kind of uninspired, repetitive and lacking in dance rhythm. So my point is, if you think you're going to be buying a NIN "pretty hate machine" type record which truly intertwines pop and industrial, you won't, don't listen to those other reviews, this is not industrial AT ALL.

... of his/their later work but stands alone by itself pretty well.
Doesn't much match the rest of his/their later work but stands alone by itself pretty well.

good service
this product arrived in good time and in good condition. It was packaged properly and had no problems. It was for my son, and I've not heard anything from him so it must have been all good.

This is NOT the colored vinyl issue.
Although the description of this LP states that it's the COLORED VINYL issue, it's NOT the orange vinyl LP that came out recently. It is the BLACK vinyl issue that came out a few years ago. This is not a review of the album itself, but the actual product description.

TERRIBLE!

Questo album "d'esordio" (With Sympathy verrà rinnegato da zio Al), insieme a The land of rape and honey, segna indelebilmente l'inizio della musica industriale americana. Sicuramente più onesti e visionari dei NIN....poi con gli anni le cose si sono capovolte a favore di quest'ultimi; ma il vero industrial dance parte da quì. Venditore ottimo.
