Rodelle Baking Cocoa, Gourmet, 8 Oz

The only cocoa powder I use for baking!

Best quality tasting baking cocoa. I put it in my coffee everyday to give it some flavor. I think it smells very good and the best part is there is no sugar needed with this. I have not baked with it yet but I am sure it would give great flavor. The color is always a nice brown.

If you like really good chocolate and you are a person that makes ice cream or brownies or even cakes this is the brand for you. I make a lot of ice cream in my ninja creami ice cream machine and I use this product and it makes the most delicious chocolate ice cream you've ever had. I've also used it in brownies and cakes, and the chocolate is just supreme. I will never use another brand but this.!

Started my Christmas baking. I went to refill my container of cocoa ( I have open shelving by my kitchen work area so I know when I'm running low). Had Nestles baking cocoa in the pantry. When I went to add it, I noticed the color difference. I immediately checked my Amazon history and reordered the Rodelle. For reference, the Nestles is on the left and the Rodelle on the right side of the plate.

I love this cocoa, and have ordered it twice. I use it in baking and it also makes the most delicious chocolate ice cream!

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who puts this at the top of her list for powdered cocoa. I tried it at least 15 times -- baking a chocolate cake and making hot cocoa. It mixes well in liquids and is ground finely enough it has less at the bottom of the cup than many other brands. I ended up giving about half of this to my friend based solely on its flavor. I'm not a cocoa expert, so I don't know the vocab -- this does not have enough 'chocolately flavor' for my taste.

This is my all-time favorite cocoa. It makes a delicious chocolate cake but would be good used in most any baking recipe that calls for cocoa, as well as for making hot chocolate...such a wonderful rich chocolate taste. It is a bit costly, but well worth it for the great flavor.

I made brownies with this cocoa and Hershey’s cocoa. The difference is seriously night and day! The brownies were so yummy and chocolatey and you could definitely tell it was gourmet cocoa. This is my new go to cocoa whenever I need it
