So far, so good. I was skeptical when I ordered this. I have been making my own for years. I’ll not be making any more. My dog is a very strong 90lb Irish Red And White Setter. This lead is plenty strong. The handle is super comfortable. Would buy this again if I needed to.

Bought this for my doberman to go hiking and over the first couple trips, iterated over a few modifications.I had to add thick knots every couple feet so if i needed to stop my dog before she gets up to full speed, I can do so without shredding my hands. Minimum double knots or you've created a serrated slick line to check your hands up faster. The actual carabiner type lock is kind of cheap and I have the least faith in it.Otherwise its the perfect length for letting my dog explore the sides of the trail, gives the pair of us some buffer when going up or down rockier parts, and can be tied to one's waist to be hands free for a moment.

I have a 70 lb Pitbull that is socially challenged with other dogs so I use it to take him out to use the restroom right outside my ground floor patio and when he sees another Dog of course he wants to head in that direction but the leash keeps him in check and is strong enough to counter his advancement. He's very strong and this leash is very durable. I've had it for a few months now and not one stitch has come undone. I'm worry free with this buy, I definitely recommend it. The only downside for this company is that the leash is so durable that you'll only have to buy one per lifetime unless you have multiple dogs or your dog decides to chew it up. Yes, this product is that good.

We LOVED these leads when we got them a week ago . They looked like they were build excellent. Until it snapped on one of my dogs. My dogs are not jumpers or chewers (they have many flaws but those are not any of theirs) We just moved and he ran to the field down from us THANK GOD my dogs are trained well and he came back when called. I don’t even want to imagine what could have happened . Utterly terrifying

Bought this lead for my 4mo pup, planning to train him eventually to hike with me off-leash. Not there yet, but this lead is looking like it will be the most valuable tool to get him there. The 50-foot length allows me to work with commands in public places (like parks with grass--we have a desert-scape yard with only gravel to run on) like "come," "stay," and "heel"; and to throw fetch toys with enough length to break into a good run. The stretch is perfect, not too much but enough so that the pup doesn't wrench his neck when he reaches the end of his rope. The comfort handle isn't necessary, imho, but it's nice--a luxury. The locking clip/hook is durable and gives me peace of mind. Excellent product overall, perfect for my puppy training purposes.

44lb Collie mixJust got it but from what I can tell so far is that it's pretty sturdy (hopefully that continues) and its more stretchy than I was anticipating which was a good thing. When my dog reaches the end, it helps to lessen the impact of that pull. Overall, I would recommend this leash to anybody.

It is what it looks like in the pictures.The color is beautiful and the rope is very sturdy, withstanding our dog’s occasional rebellious bites.Maybe because of being so sturdy, it’s also very heavy. I always carry it in a backpack.What could be a bit sturdier is the piece that secures the hook in the D-ring. I wish that had a better mechanism. But truth be told, I haven’t had an issue with it opening, so far.Being a strong rope, be very aware of your dog’s moves around you. I’ve gotten 2 rope burns, one on my arm (I was sitting down) and a pretty bad one on my ankle. It’s taking several weeks to heal and it was very painful during the first week. Make sure you wear high socks, pants, maybe footwear that goes high on the ankle, and long sleeves if you’re gonna sit down. Because as they run around and change directions, it’s likely the rope with brush by you, and it can be fast/abrasive.But overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Very durable, for my large dogs . This is exactly what I have been looking for . It’s easy use and great for my 145pd dogs . So happy I found this !!!!

It's a good lead if the catch was better. It came undone and luckily we were in a safe place where it happened. If we were near a road or stock it could have been awful. The lead was great and helped a lot with training, but you do need to be able to trust it's not going to release the dog at anytime. The lock function does not stay in position and opens easily. I'm going to fit a better catch. The handle is soft and the rope is nice to hold.

We bought two of these for our dogs and, while one of them is fine, the other one snapped on the second use. We were in the middle of a large field doing recall training with our new rescue dog when we realised she wasn’t on the leas because the link connector had snapped. We had to tie the lead to her harness to continue the walk. Very disappointing as the other one is working well so far. Very comfy handle and sturdy rope.

Just perfect. Didn't want a retractable. Needed strength without excessive weight. Needed security. This has been perfect for walking our newly re-homed 23kg boy......easy to hold, easy to gather up, comfy handle and doesn't tangle. Strong rope & secure carabiner.

When this puppy lead arrive could not wait to use it.First day taking my puppy out for a small walk great fine. But on my way back home crossing the road which is fairly busy.The lead attachment had snap luckily got across safely but was very disappointed in the lead.

I'm not allowed to put a fence up In the garden as its shared with two other tenants. My dog got out of the garden and ran across the road in front of a bus. That is why i bought your lead, i can open it up fully and she can run all over the whole garden, whilst she is protected by the lead.
