The Baby-Sitters Club Retro Set: The Friendship Collection

Bought this box set as a birthday gift for my niece who just turned 9. I read these books when I was her age and I was super excited to share the memories with her. The set is an easy read and easy to store in their own tin case for easy storage.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful set. Love the 10 storage box. 10-year-old foster child loves these books.

This is an excellent set. I'm glad to see new printings with the original covers. (The new illustrated covers are fine. I just prefer the old ones.)That said, I've noticed a lot of complaints about the books in this set being out of order. That's because thrse collectors sets are a tie-in to the Netflix series. The first set included the books adapted in Season 1, which were mostly done in order minus the adaptation of the second super special (which was not included in the set). This, set 2 contains the books adapted in Season 2. Which jumps around more. Stacey never moves away in the Netflix show, so they can't adapt her New York books, for instance. End result is that we get the book for 'Stacey's Emergency", instead of "Goodbye, Stacey, Goodbye"

Bought the retro books for our school library and they were a huge hit! Just wish I would purchase them in the tin can in order.

This is the perfect starter set! All the books are great!

My 11-year-old granddaughter is an avid reader. She specifically asked for The Babysitters Club. The box was a nice bonus.

Classic girls books
