Works as intended. I use my cast iron skillet almost daily and I am happy with this hot handle holder. The only negative is cleaning. Not easy to completely dry out the inside if you get water in there, small space and thickness makes it difficult to get even a paper towel thoroughly into. You risk the handle rusting if the holder is not completely dry inside. I am fine with this issue because I have two holders so I can leave one out for a few days for any water residue to dry up. I would recommend this hot handle holder to others.

Fits several different sizes of handles, makes handling a HOT cast iron pan much easier and safer

We’ve switched to cast iron as the safest and most efficient AND delicious way to cook. No weird coatings that years later are “discovered” to cause cancer. BUT the handles are very hot. This silicone cover allows me to pour my cooked contents into another pan safely and easily. Doesn’t slip.

This is thick and sturdy and provides great heat protection for the handle of my cast iron pans. However, the opening is too narrow, so it doesn't slide up all the way to the edge of the pan and so it wobbles a bit as you hold and lift the pan. I don't think it will slide completely back and off, but it just feels like the design could have been better at the opening (wider) so it doesn't do that and reduces the risk of any accidents while using this with hot cast iron, then it would have been great.

A good handle holder is a necessity with cast iron pans and this fits perfectly with Lodge pans. For my money Lodge does cast iron best including the accessories.

It is better than the off-brand one we tried first, but it still isn't as tight of a fit as I'd like. The handle wants to rotate inside when you're tilting the pan. Otherwise it's great.

I can still feel a very hot handle through this silicone sleeve. I'm not comfortable using it alone. I've opted to use my potholders with it. So, this turns out to be an unnecessary purchase.

I feel like the lodge cast iron pans don't rotate as much with this handle, makes it easier to tip the pans. Also, I use this for my butter pat industries pans and it works great!

Handle is way too big and loose. Expected better from Lodge.

This is an excellent handle cover and worth the premium price but ONLY for traditional lodge cast iron pans with the traditional handle. DOES NOT FIT Blacklock pan handles and should not be used on flat (pancake type) pans because the front end of the grip is too close to the flame.

Received this yesterday and put it on my 12" Lodge skillet. It is far too large and loose to make picking up the skillet safe. Waste of money. Don't recommend.
