wattage? description claims a 240 watt motor and a 150 watt motor?

I wondered the same thing, because it seems like this would matter as far as strength and durability. This is what it said underneath the item when describing it. To be honest, I believe what it says, I just think they USE the 240 watt line to make you believe your getting MORE power. This is what it says.... Powerful Copper Motor: Input Power: 240W; Output Power: 150W. Our food slicer is equipped with all-copper motor, which allows you to produce 50 pieces of food per minute.
