Pnut Butter
I have been exclusively using Laura Scudder's PB for years. All natural. Delicious. Does require vigorous mixing when opening a new jar. Helps some if you store it upside down for a while.

Best natural peanut butter I've ever had
I've been eating natural peanut butters for over 50 years, and Laura Scudder's Nutty Old Fashioned Peanut Butter is the best I've ever had. Unscrew the lid, and the scent of fine roasted peanuts, ground to a rich butter, fills your head. Mix it up to a dreamy homogenous crunchy peanut butter, so beautiful, and lick the spoon (or knife, choose your utensil) -- the taste is divine, but it's the texture that grabs you, and puts this PB ahead of any other. Ground a little less than other brands, so instead of a totally creamy smooth paste, it's got just a touch of a texture I'd describe as similar to the way sesame seed Halva makes love to your tongue -- it tickles the tongue's sense of touch, and is beyond delightful. Truly a delight for all the senses, there is no other peanut butter that can compare with Laura Scudder's.

Best tasting peanut butter EVER!!!
I don’t know what they do to this stuff but it’s the best tasting pb period. Grew up in southern california where it was available in most grocery stores. Then moved to east coast for grad school where it was unavailable so whenever I’d go back to California to visit I’d come back with a suitcase full of Laura Scudders peanut butter. Then moved to Michigan for 30 years ... also unavailable there. Now buying this all the time on Amazon. Ingredients = peanuts and salt ... as it should be. Yeah the oil separates and you have to stir it up good when you first open it. Yeah you have to keep it in the fridge after opening. Those things don’t matter. Again ... best tasting peanut butter ever and at my age I’m pretty sure I’ve tried them all.

The Bestest Peanut Butter on the Market and Nice Glass Jars Too
The best peanut butter. No discussion. Peanuts, Salt, And No Unnecessary Garbage. They come in nice glass jars too, a handy size. I think they make great cups / mugs and tbh the seal, even on re-use, is good enough for short-term leftovers that you can skip buying mason jars for similar stuff if you're broke. They'd probably make good Molotov cocktails too but I haven't tried that yet, it's illegal in California. Just sayin' though. The glass is not as strong as mason jar glass though, definitely the "poor man's" option, and for long-term stuff you need that special seal and the pressure canning process, which these are *not* suitable for. They would also be perfect, in terms of height / aperture ratio, for homemade candles.

good, but...
I accidentally ordered this, smooth, when I don't like smooth peanut butter. I always get the Laura Scudder Nutty, but saw 6 smaller jars, for a decent price, and didn't notice the SMOOTH part till it was too late - I'd opened a jar. This was oilier than the Nutty, and I should've removed some oil before stirring, but..... I did end up chopping up about 1/2 cup of unsalted roasted peanuts and adding to a jar, and it's much better to my crunchy loving taste. My jars had more than 6 months before the expiration date, and since a jar of peanut butter lasts us a week- enough time for sure.

Great peanut butter
The shipping was fantastic. Each jar carefully wrapped and no broken or leaky jars.

Why can't there be an 'egg carton' approach to packaging?
6x Laura Scudder peanut butter individually wrapped, well packaged.Received 1/8/18 and each jar expires 8/21/18 (so that gives me over 8 months before expiration date). That was a plus!Would have been good if the package was packed with biodegradable packaging. There was way too much plastic used to protect the jars. Despite my relief that the glass jars were wrapped thoroughly and properly to protect the glass from breaking, a more environmentally gentle way of packaging should be seriously considered and consistently used. Our consumer based economy doesn't have to mean harming the environment for our superficial wants and needs. Why can't there be an 'egg carton' approach to packaging?

Peanut butter for S(m)uckers - 3 deliveries and 3 failures
2.5 stars average between 5-star PB and 0-star delivery. The peanut butter itself is great and I love it, but it hasn't once arrived as 3 Laura Scudder's jars as promised. I subscribed to this item 3 months ago. The first delivery arrived with one of the jars in a million sharp pieces of glass inside the box and peanutbutterglass mess was so fun to clean up so I could eat the 2 good jars. The second delivery was cancelled "undeliverable due to damage" and I received a refund. And the 3rd delivery that just showed up at my door a few minutes ago is 3 jars of (creamy) SMUCKERS... - unsubbed
