I was very happy to find this specific formulation because it contains the right vitamins/nutrients I was searching for based on a recent study which I read, suggesting that taking certain vitamins/nutrients may halt glaucoma progression. Also, the specific forms noted in the study of each of the B vitamins are in this product. So far I take one capsule per day and no stomach issues. Two nice unexpected benefits are that I sleep better (I take the vitamins after supper) and my tinnitus has decreased. None of what I wrote above is to be considered medical advice, but just my personal experience. Please keep your "ACTIVE B-COMPLEX" capsules available on Amazon, INTEGRATIVE THERAPUETICS! Ok. First day, Sunday, took 1 in the morning. Still fell asleep during church and dreamed about Jesus. So that was nice. Second day, Monday, is anyone ever ready for Monday? I knew I wouldn't be so I took 2 and started my day and oh my word! It's almost 11 and I feel like I should be way more tired cuz I usually am just a dead zombie all morning but I've got energy! It's weird and nice. I've also been fighting a cold, so I'm dosing up on vitamin C every day but not more than 1500-2000mg a day and it's only been like 2 days now since I started that too. Maybe it's a combination of both Or not but I feel like this is helping a lot. It almost feels like a replacement for methylcare, which is way more expensive and honestly I didn't get the same results at all when I was taking it. That was one of those, it's probably helping, kind of vitamins. But I feel like this one is helping right away!! Buy it! Buy it now!! On subscription so you never run out! Oh my gosh, I forgot to mention. I am like on the worst days of my period and I feel GREAT!! Like what??? I'm not agitated or irritable. It works you guys. Wow! It does nothing for cramps, you'll still need a bunch of Advil/Tylenol but this is awesome for what it's doing :D

How does one ever know if vitamin supplements are doing what they are supposed to be doing? My doctor recommended I take a Vitamin B complex after my Total Ankle Replacement surgery when I complained about being woken up every morning to extremely sharp stabbing pain that would subside after a while and reappear like clockwork the next morning. I looked for brands my “healthy” friends recommended and this one seemed a good option. After a week or so, my morning nerve pain disappeared. Is this because of this Vitamin B complex? Hard to say. Many factors could be responsible. Perhaps even a placebo effect. Regardless, I feel reasonably confident that nothing has gotten worse. So let’s discuss the pee. Oh my goodness. These pills turn your pee a concentrated neon yellow-marigold color that looks like it could dye fabric. Clearly there is more Vitamin B2, 9, and 12 in there than a body needs and the excess is being flushed. Just a bit disconcerting. When the bottle is done I will re-evaluate whether to continue. Too much Vit B over a longer period of time can be a problem.

This is not a review for myself, but for my dog. Earlier this summer, I had discovered that she is allergic to Brewer's Yeast, which is in so many dog food brands and B vitamins as well. I discovered her allergy when I had bought some Brewer's Yeast Powder here on Amazon. After her first dose she was itching terribly. I had wanted to put her on some vitamins to see if her behavior improved and I knew B Complex can help to calm nervous tension. I had been feeding her some very expensive brands of dog food which was grain free. So, trusting it likely was not an allergy to grain, I had a hunch she was deficient in something(not to mention her white tongue... Iron deficiency? I had fed her beets which helped that out quite a bit, but the issue of her hyperactivity and unwillingness to listen was still a problem ). Once I discovered the issue(allergy to yeast), I search for a brand of B Vitamin that she could tolerate(that had no yeast) and I found this one. I have given it to her for the past 10 days straight and I'd like to report that she is doing so much better. This B vitamin, along with fish oil, vitamin E & A, and magnesium, have made a huge difference in her behavior. She has gone from a(what some call a pure pain in the "a_ _".. jumping on them, demanding they play with her CONSTANTLY) to a MUCH more well-behaved dog. NO, she did not need Behavioral Modification nor more training, electro-shick therapy nor threats.. she knows what NOT to do.. she just would not listen nor heed. What she needed was NUTRITION! Yesterday, a friend came over and was amazed at how well-behaved she was and agreed it must be the added nutrition. "Shasha" now listens, looks me in the eye and actually proves she understands me by following simple commands. Also, prior to giving her these nutrients, her coat was dull and she itched terribly and smelled even worse. I could go into more detail, but I just wanted to state that she tolerates this particular B Vitamin VERY well... so well, I plan to switch my B Complex from Pure Encapsulations to this brand.
