Paired this with a Zoeller 1/2 horse pump. Works perfect and is quiet. Makes installation a breeze. No glue needed.

Installed today on a 1hp sump pump, and the check valve appears to be working well. I don’t see water returning to the pit from the discharge pipe. I had tested the unit out of the box (pre-installation) and noticed there was a small trickle from the flap. I believe this trickle is only due to not having enough water weight as compared to a full discharge tube of water pressing down on the flap. It’s a nice, quiet check valve, with a pre-drilled weap hole, easy to thread onto the sump pump, etc. Far better than the Wayne brand that is similar and similarly priced ~$20. Nice compact design that fits in narrow sump pit or a multi pump pit.
