So worth it
I am an intermediate-level guitar player who plays for a church praise team and occasional jam sessions at friends' music studios. Because I am not a professional, it has always been hard to put any real money into this passion. I have typically played through Tonebridge on my computer to get the sounds I wanted, but they never sounded as good through a PA versus headphones. My plan was to purchase the G6 and purchase additional pedals where the G6 missed the mark. I'm happy to say, I do not need to buy additional pedals because they all sound great! I'm comparing it to my dad's pedals which cost about $150+ each. The only compromise is not having physical knobs to turn on the fly for each pedal in the chain. Not a big issue if you have your computer open and use the lab app. And honestly, with all the user patches you could add, you likely will not need to tweak too much. Everything I do perform live, I have the luxury of being at the same location and the mix pre-saved for our band. So if it sounded good once, it's likely going to sound the same next time. 10/10 would buy it again. My other musician buddies are impressed.

Programmable foot switches
I haven't found anything that I don't like. It has great sound and flexibility. I don't care for most of the presets, but that isn't an issue because I can create my own. Once I figured out what was going on with creating my own presets, it is pretty easy. I've watched a couple reviews on YT where the reviewer droned on about the case being made of plastic. It doesn't seem to be an issue. It is very sturdy and well made. I'm still experimenting with it and still learning, but so far I'm impressed and happy with my purchase.

Good, but not Andriod Compatible
The only dissapointment is that the connection software is not ported to android so I can't run it on stage with my android tablet. The sounds are good, lots of effects choices. Not too difficult interface after discovering "edit all". Overall pretty pleased with the G6, but the marketing literature does not make it clear that android is not supported.

Not a user friendly unit
Zoom did not make the G6 a user friendly processor. I've been playing with this unit for a few months now and find it very frustrating to get between sound banks and effects channels. I'm used to the up/down buttons or even dials to get between effects packages, but this unit does not have that and it just frustrates the crap out of me.

Cool enough to have fun.
I had the B6; this one works as great as the bass unit. The only inconvenience I see is that I can't use a standard USB-C cable to connect the unit to my computer (the B6 doesn't have that problem). In any case, the G6 will be a great road partner (it's truly robust), and it has a bigger palette of options in order to configure your digital pedalboard than the B6 (which is even bigger if you have an additional ZOOM expression pedal).

Recomendado

Great pedal since the first "zoom" pedal i have used i'm very happy with all the possibilities in their products. Dont ask your self too many questions this pedal is awesome (stage, studio) the sound are amazing.. dont ve afraid also to try putting the cab simulation before the amps (very strange but the sound is better to me) the only weak point to me is the plastic (very light) but its the only thing.

First thing I did was make a custom patch and used the 'send/return' option in the chain and ran it through my Joyo Bantamp and a 212 cab. The sound was amazing going through many different effects. Then I hooked it up to my home stereo system and used the built in patches. That sounded amazing as well especially with stereo effects. The tuner takes up the whole display and is very accurate and easy to use. The built in drums also sound high quality and have the perfect volume level to play along with. There are at least 100 built in patches and almost all are usable for a huge variety of genres. The pedal has a plastic case which may be the only real negative but does feel strong. There seems to be a massive upgrade in sound quality using the various drives compared to earlier Zoom multi effect units. The menu is all on a large, brightly colored touchscreen and easy to use and navigate in the dark. I would be a bit afraid about the screen glitching after a few years as with most electronic devices. I can run this unit through my guitar amp, home stereo amp, headphones, PA system, recording units and software and Zooms optional software. I do, however wish it had an XLR output as an option. Once I have used it for a week or two, I'll be making a full review video.
