I ordered 2 on separate orders. A 10" and an 8" length. My first one was working well as designed. It ruined on me after only the 8th hole drilling. All my fault. I accidently hit a Simpson Strong Tie 1 1/2" hanger nail on the other side of the double joist and 4x6 post. The screw tip got destroyed and got dull of course but completed about 2 more holes before I went to a spade bit to complete the job. Not the tool's fault for being destroyed. Drills through pressure treated lumber with ease and minimal need to wobble the bit. It seems to pull itself in as well like some of the name brand auger type wood drill bits. I like the 3/8" hex type shank. More torque allowed with a 20v Dewalt drill driver. Thought I was going to be able to use it with my 12v Dewalt impact driver in a pinch but the shank is not going to fit the 1/4" impact driver's bit holder. Works well and my 2nd one is doing well with none of my mistakes from the first one.

Works like a champ. Slices thru 2X4's like a hot knife thru butter. I have other wood bits but this one is of superior quality. Just insert the bit into your hex chuck and press the small diameter screw head of this augur into some wood and watch this augur bit cut a smooth bore. Easy peasy! Worth every penny!

I needed a 9/16" diameter 15" long drill bit. Could not find this diameter in any big box stores or local hardware stores. they were available on line with delivery in November. Amazon shipped this one quickly. Excellent product and the best price I could find.

Perfect drill for my tree. I drill holes in my tree trunks too kill them. It's super thick and long. It's very sharp. This is very strong and didn't break. Great price.

Building a firing range backdrop with Railroad Ties... this should've lasted the entire project but was dulled to completely unusable after only 12 holes. Definitely going to look for a popular reliable brand instead of these. More than $1 per hole drilled. Definitely not worth it.

I purchased this in order to make holes in a tree root i am ATTEMPTING to remove. I add to the hole Magnesium Sulphate ie EPSOM SALTS which goes down to holes, dehydrates the roots making them easy to remove! This Drill Bit was NOT successful, it got stuck and broke my drill!

A little hard coming out of hard wood however this makes the cleanest wholes ever. This product is not perfect but it gives you quaity holes and that is all I can ask for
