Is this water proof? Would it work over a smooth faux marble shower wall that has a crack in it?

It is water resistant...........it is made of PP/PET and PVC all are plastic so the film is water resistant. I don't think it will withstand the humidity/and moisture if it is directly part of the shower. (the adhesive is what I would be concerned about)
