My son picked this out for his mouthpiece for football this year. I guess this is the new thing. He is 15 and playing in the JV football team. I like that it seems to protect his whole mouth more then the older styles. Since he just got his braces off and has a beautiful smile, that extra protection is always good for me. It is a bit funny to see him with this in his mouth because it does look like a pacifier but he likes it and all the kids have them. It is easy for him to take them out and easy to keep clean. I would recommend. My only complaint is that it didn't come with a case to hole them while they are not in use. I had to order that separately.

This is awesome. My son was hit in the face after missing a football catch. It bounced right off the lip guard and he continued playing like nothing happened. No bloody lip, no bruised gum, no knocked out tooth.

Son bite through this in like 2 lacrosse games very soft material if you do not have a child that chews on his mouth piece this would be great

Initially was great for my 8 year old. BUT I had to change my review bc my son was able to chew the molar sections off with ease.... he'd barely bite down sometimes and it'd come off in pieces. We opted for a different one. Might work for older kids though

Great mouth guard. The strap stays in a lot better than on the Battle mouth guards, which was the main reason for trying a different brand this year.
