elope Pair of Maleficent Costume Horns - Foam with Clear Elastic Cord, One Size Fits Most - Standard - Black

For what it is, it's pretty expensive. However, it's a licensed Disney product, so I get it. The structure it's attached to is garbage (it's a thin, clear elastic band) but I knew this when I bought it. (This is my second pair.) I hot glued it to a stiff backing and then to a headband. It's very lightweight, shape is beautiful, and am overall happy! Attaching a photo of my previous pair that I painted too. (Paint is chipping off now, I spray painted it.)

I wore these horns on Halloween & I was sooo happy with them! They were just what I needed to take my quick Maleficent costume to the next level.Pros:Good size. Tall/big enough to make a statement.Lightweight. Made of a sturdy-ish hollow foam.Comfortable. I see some people disagree with this, but I had no problems whatsoever.Came in a protective plastic case so they weren't misshapen during shipping.Cons:The hollow foam. You have to be a little careful with these. Sit or step on them & they'll probably lose their form.The plastic cord! It would NOT stay on the back of my head. I had to wear it under my chin. It's clear plastic but thick enough to see. Luckily I could hide it with some careful maneuvering and hair tricks.

Bought these after reading reviews. I loved that they'd be lightweight. The material is a bit cheaply made, like styrofoam-y, hollow, and the color is a more dark grey. I didn't like how they lay on my head with the clear, rubbery band they were attached to so I decided to take that off and attach the horns to a black head band. I took 2 bobby pins per horn, poked them through the bottom of the horns on the outer edges then slid them onto the headband. This made them way more secure on my head and they lay nice and flat. They looked fantastic and didn't make my head all sweaty like the full maleficent caps would!

I was a bit disappointed when I opened the package. They looked so good but they are a light foam that I feel could rip VERY easily. They are hollow as well. I feel hollow horns need to be a harder plastic or they will just rip or get smashed. The clear strap to hold them on also did not feel to sturdy. It worked for my photo but I doubt they will last.

The horns were perfect for my costume. They were very light and took to hot glue very well without the foam melting. They are made out of hollow foam which really made them light to wear and were easy to attach to my resin head. these horns are perfect for fursuits or cosplay and i'd highly recommend them to people. the only problem is how you'd wear them. they are attached to a clear plastic band that you stretch around your head so it fits snuggly. However i'd recommend hot gluing them to a headband instead because i'd feel that that would be sturdier in the long run. Otherwise, these horns are wonderful. Thank you!

I can’t tell you enough how much I love these horns. I’ve worn them 2 Halloweens in a row (for a Maleficant costume and a faun costume) and they’ve been perfect! They are such good quality, light weight, and look surprisingly realistic. You can wear them all day without any issues because their weight is so light. The size is also very nice and proportionate, they look just like Maleficant’s horns in the movie. I really liked that the strap is clear and adjustable because they can fit comfortably on any size head and the strap isn’t too noticeable. You’re going to get a thousand compliments on these, I promise!

I was so disappointed with these. At first, I tried them on my daughter and the flimsy plastic seemed to work. I also agreed with other reviews about trimming excess material and had no trouble using a razor to trim off the extra styrofoam at the seems. I bought a headband just in case, as according to the other reviews, the flimsy plastic was not enough. On the day of Halloween, I went to put on my daughter and the clasp to tighten it broke. I got out the headband and hot glue gun and tried to glue it on, but for some reason, the styrofoam would not stick to the glue whatsoever. The glue had no difficulties sticking to the headband or anything else. I had to use a needle and thread to attach them to the headband. Needless to say, we left the house MUCH later than we wanted. I was extremely unhappy, but we finally got out to enjoy the rest of Halloween. For the money, these should be MUCH more finished than they are!!!

These maleficent horns were perfect! The plastic strap used to hold horns in place does not stay put so I used multiple safety pins both on the sides and under my hair but I received SO many compliments on my Halloween costume at disneyland for the oogie boogie bash. Horns are very light weight and hardly felt them on my head all night
