The Builder piece gives you an "extra turn" mechanic during the game proper. The Trader tokens add endgame scoring opportunities to city building. Both mechanics make our games more heated and less predictable, even during the last few tiles. The trader tiles, in particular, have ended up deciding the game for us when the scores were very tight!

Soooo my husband and I are avid Carcassonne players!! Absolutely obsessed with this game. This expansion specifically has been one of our favorites. The builder adds a fun element of getting to pull another piece during your turn to lay down on your map. We love the thrill of getting another turn haha. We use this expansion every time we play. The traders are fun too. Sometimes one of us forgets to pay attention to the trader pieces and then the other will sneak in at the end with a bunch of points. This expansion is easy to learn compared to other expansions available, but it can also require strategic thinking. If you like carcassonne this expansion is worth it! And the dragon/fairy expansion. Take a look at that one too.

Aunque la figura del constructor puede quedar de lado, el comercio puede cambiar mucho las puntuaciones finales del juego. Haciéndonos competir por cerrar ciertas ciudades no para puntuar por su tamaño, si no por sus posibilidades comerciales.

Carcassonne c'est le grand classique, facile a aborder de prime abord, on se rend vite compte que la stratégie est bien présente. très fun lors de soirée entre amis
